Anyone got the DS3 Apocalypse Edition steelbook? Is it embossed?
 
GameSeek got back to me on my MP9 order, didn't address any of my questions really with answers in their email but they said they'd send out a replacement if I want but asked me if I do to let them know if the other one arrives. Said I'll ask for a replacement if I don't see it by Tuesday but the cheek of them, never even apologised or explained anything. I feel like asking them to do it and hoping that it comes and saying nothing.
 
I'm gagging on a cheap PC code for Quantum Break, man. There's no way I'm supporting them full price with this port, but I'm sure the game is still good and Max Payne 2 is still one of my favourite games ever, so I'm keen to play Remedy's new game.

eBay bids don't do it for me. This is the first time CDKeys hasn't provided for my needs! Damn you, CDKeys!

Did you try the buy/sell thread? there are a lot of xb one users selling it for ~30 (But i'm not sure if they already get it).

It's going to plummet in price like Batman did, I picked that shit up for £7 and it still wasn't worth it, I didn't even finish it.

Batman? I played that on PS4, so it was great for me. (Unfortunately.) The difference here is that QB is a UWA, so I'm not sure if there'll be as much flexibility with codes/sellers?

It may be busted af, but I need to see how Remedy are coming along; as an artistic thing, not an entertainment thing. At least Microsoft won't get the money if I buy second hand.

Does the Windows Store even have redeemable codes that you can buy elsewhere?

Also, have you read the Eurogamer article that says the PC port is awful? And you still want to buy it after that?
 
Do you think it would be worth getting that PS4 anniversary steelbook from GAME?

It's £50 but I have a £5 voucher and inside it has a years subscription to PS Plus (£40) plus a £20 PSN top up card...

Hang around the buy/trade thread. The codes for the XB1 pre order still aren't all out (I don't have mine yet and might be willing to sell!) so they should start appearing.

If you need the yearly sub then the money is a bonus really, so its up to you. It's not often you can save yourself £10 on £20 credit.

are microsoft giving out codes instead of just giving your xbl account the license? did they not think about how that can ruin the digital market for a while? lol :P

I'm pretty sure it's codes. It's probably why they delayed them, try and not ruin the market as much!
 
My simplygames online account marked my order as dispatched on Friday after lunch, although weirdly their system said it sent after 6pm.

It didn't arrive in Saturday's post, then this morning I had a text telling me it was dispatched and it didn't arrive with today's post either.

Simply is only usually like this with COD games if Activision is being funny about it, so not sure why this happened.

I'm annoyed though, If I knew I was going to be waiting until release day I would have just strolled into Game and picked up a steelbook.
 
Fuck GAME, still don't have my DS3 copy, so tempted to spend the extra £2 and get it from PSN to play it at midnight and refund them their copy, fuck their Apocalypse edition.

I mean, you order from Game, you get it at release. I thought we all knew that by now? You can't be angry at a company for not getting it to you before release date, that's insane.

There's plenty of reasons to say "fuck Game" of course though.

I've had GAME break release dates for me quite a few times, and yes I can.
