Do people ever give candidates money in order to hurt them?

Like, when I think about how much advertising Hillary's done using big donations, and the amount of headache it's given her, the net benefit is probably massively negative.

It isn't just a human aspect, the mice I research do it too. We were created/evolved/spawned this way, and the only way to alleviate it if only a little is to recognize when emotions/biases are overriding our slightly more logical parts of the brain.

Sanders would look ridiculous if we didn't have the Republican candidates to compare. Really disappointing to hear Hillary say something sensical and nuanced and have the crowd go crazy when Sanders says "$15 is more than $12!"

He looks slimy as hell with this gun stuff. Smiling and scoffing during a talk about gun control isn't a good look. Also like how he's all on Hillary for dodging questions and then does the same exact shit when asked if he owes the Sandy Hook parents an apology.

I wish they'd press him harder on how exactly he's going to get anything done. It's too easy for him to make slightly loftier promises when he's not held accountable.

My girlfriend probably agrees with you lol. My response is do you feel killing in this situation is acceptable? Is the murder really about survival? I'm not talking about any other crime strictly murder/manslaughter.

I also don't have much in common with black gangbangers, but I find the term racist. I am also a Black American. That usage of the term is no difference than perceptions of "Angry Black Man" or the Black "Predator" that was violent was going to commit crimes in white communities. All of these languages have been used more or less as racist dog whistles. The fact that the term was hidden under the rationalization of crime prevention is the carnal definition of a dog whistle. You can't be a racist explicitly, but you can certainly imply it with the way you justify using the term and the implications the language has.

But when pressed with a clear chance to specifically name something that shows Hillary has been corrupted by big donations, he completely flubbed the question.

The chance to back up his accusations was handed to him. He had nothing.

On both optics and policy he fucked up. 15 flat min wage makes no sense once you think about it for two seconds, he got entirely fucked on guns and laughed about it, and isn't going into detail on any of his tired talking points like Hilary is.
 
I'm sorry but it's hypocritical of Hillary to say how bad the water crisis in Flint is, but supports fracking globally.

Sanders supporters don't get that Obama is the most popular outgoing president in many years. Especially among Democrats.

You can't win a Democratic primary going against Obama.
 
Hillary wins on this. Bernie is right about the importance of climate change, but his dismissal of the actual progress during the Obama presidency is too immature and too idealistic
