Yeah supers were put in place specifically to guard AGAINST the notion of a contested Democratic convention.

I guess if Bernie somehow started to swinging the momentum hugely in his favor coupled with a legit Hilary scandal and he could get enough of the SDs to jump ship and throw a wrench into things. I don't see that happening tho.

Looks like NYC is about 59-41 for Clinton, but outside of NYC so far things are heavily favoring Bernie. Question remains as to whether Bernie can make up that that 10% in the non-NYC areas of the state. I'm guessing it'll end up about 51-49, but not sure who for.

p.s. it's also a bit suspect about 100,000 people in Brooklyn "falling off" the rolls. NYC election officials are not happy.

Jesus Christ enough with the "falling off' bullshit conspiracy crap

At some point, they'll have to concede that the exit polls were incorrect. We have yet to see any huge swings in the data as of yet.

I'd wait until 50% to say something like that. Still, it's not looking like it's going to be as close as exit polls were suggesting. I still wouldn't be surprised for it to drop a bit, although not 8 points.

This is what I don't understand people not getting. Have supers ever gone against what the voters were doing? Pretty sure they haven't.

Hillary simply is in the lead - and by quite a bit. From states won to total votes and momentum. Supers aren't supposed to go against that and won't. Hence them siding with Hillary.

Like you said, if Bernie actually was outperforming and leading or at least showing more momentum, supers would start going for him.

Brian Williams just called Trump "the next president of the United States" in a serious tone, and I nearly threw up.

Is Brian Williams back on TV or did he make this comment from a Wallmart where he was standing at the checkout wearing a dressing gown while holding a giant pack of ramen noodles?

i really don't get it. unless all of neogaf make the majority of their income through capital gains. scust.

It's easy to understand. He's a populist who doesn't care about the Democratic party, and he's lowering himself to attack Hillary when he promised this would be a campaign of ideas.

Time for him to ride off into the sunset.

Oh oh oh, not that she's going to win by 30%, that they'll make a call when 30% of the race is in. But she'll probably win by about 10-15% based on their model, probably closer to 15%.

great results!
all party primaries should be closed IMO

those who aren't happy with that can go make their own party

Disagree. I think it might be in the best interest of parties to have open primaries (or at least Semi open, like MA where you have to choose one). Independents vote in the general, and you want to make sure you have the strongest candidate

Looks like a big solid win for Hillary. Too large for Sanders to spin it positively IMO.

Conspiracy? I heard it on NPR man.

NY Daily News:
Mayor de Blasio issued a statement charging that entire buildings and city blocks of voters were among the 126,000 voters purged from the Brooklyn books since last fall.

“These errors indicate that additional major reforms will be needed to the Board of Election,” said de Blasio. “The perception that numerous voters may have been disenfranchised undermines the integrity of the entire electoral process, and must be fixed.”
