Nope. Not over yet.

Sure it is. I mean mathematically it's not, ok. But in the same way that many Republicans pulled out even though mathematically it wasn't, Bernie needs to. Time for the party to do some focusing and not hold on to false hopes. I was fine with him running up to now, but a big loss in NY is the end.

Was anyone projecting Bernie was going to be competitive in NY? Can't be surprising NY of all places would swing heavily in her direction.

538's original targets based on a stastical 50:50 tie had him winning NY by a very small margin. So no, no one was projecting him to win NY, but if he was winning the nomination he should have been. No one was projecting him to win the nomination either, and it won't be surprising when he doesn't.

The gap is closing a little bit, although it's difficult to tell whether this is a trend or not. Regardless I doubt it will drop (or rise) by more than 5 points with these percentages.

Of course not. He's made the primary goal of his campaign to shit all over the first or second largest economic sector in the state, plus Hillary was a popular multi-term Senator there. It was never going to be anything but a double digit win, and considering how fast Bernie hightailed it out of the state today, I'm guessing he realized it too.

lol at CNN and other networks calling the Hillary win conveniently just as Trump finishes his speech. The whole night is orchestrated for maximum viewership and impact. But they definitely wanted to get Trump out of the way quickly so they can devote time to the coronation of the queen.

Bernie has a much much better chance in California, as it's an open primary for Democrats. Bernie should have put a NY campaign on the ground months ago while they could still sign up independents.

He got creamed in AZ and she won NV. Both states are indicative on how CA usually votes. Worse she can do is a tie or near tie there and she still wins. It's over.

Trump doing super well. I was pretty bullish on his prospects compared to the experts -- I figured he would get in the 80+ delegate range. But if this huge margin holds, it could be better than that. If he could get about 90 delegates, he will make up a bit of ground.

It's finally going to happen, isn't it? First woman to be on the top of the ticket.

Alright... let's do this. Come on, November!

I don't even care who wins, Bernie or Hillary, I just want one of them to win the whole thing decisively sooner rather than later.
