Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Special Edition - $79.99 | Best Buy US pre-orders back up

:(. I will still get this regardless of the price. Assuming it doesn't sell out in 5 minutes.

I gave up to get collector editions in Canada, they always show up for preorder a lot later and in super limited quantity and end up on Kijiji at 500$ .

I have better chance with U.S sites like amazon or gamestop

This is exactly the same collector's edition that was released in Japan. Again, Atlus has nothing to do with this. This is a Nintendo press release for a reason.

Sorry, I meant the actual soundtrack or artbook, not the Japan collector's edition. Very rarely do any collector's editions get full artbooks or soundtracks, and this is very much not one of those cases. The full artbook is 336 pages and the vocal album is 18 tracks.

They do cost a lot more than the $20 premium of the LE, yes. All I really meant was that I'd rather save that $20 and put it towards the full items if I decide I like the game's music/art direction, rather than get the cut-down versions of those things that usually come as LE pack-ins.

Wasn't going to buy this game, but I'm now definitely buying it.

Atlus related but not really OT: Where the hell is Persona 5? We haven't heard anything new in a good while.

Thanks. I guess that pre-order card was for Fire Emblem Cipher. Makes sense that we wouldn't get it.

Yep, it was a Fire Emblem Cipher promo card. They've been making it a point to never include anything related to Fire Emblem Cipher in Fire Emblem special editions or hardware that release overseas.

same (minus different box shape)

Yup, totally buying it.

And there it is, it's rated Teen.

This CE doean't really come woth much, but I might bite. It has a nice box.

Yeah, this is the first official acknowledgement of the ESRB rating after it was leaked (?) on Nintendo's website a couple of weeks ago.

From the import impressions, it never sounded like there was really much of any risqué content in the game to bump it to an M-rating. It sounded like the bigger problem was the presence of some questionable trademark-infringing enemies as far as their design is concerned, so it'll be interesting to see how that's been dealt with in the localization.

Are DLC any good? I mean if they are it's only $10 difference essentially.

The Japan version have some Swimsuit DLC i think , not sure if this will change in the US.

I'm almost glad because if it was M I would be worried about what caused it based on what I've seen of the game so far. I don't need so much scantily clad shit.

Hmm ,will the Swimsuit be removed? But having Swimsuit won't push it to M will it ? Not that i care about the Swimsuit but i do wonder what Nintendo will replace the DLCs with.

Not sure if they will remove any costumes but having swimsuits won't push the game to M rating.

If they will it won't be related to the rating.

I was just reading that the physical release of this game has awful load times compare to digital?

having to choose between digital and physical sucks.

Ah, sorry about that. Yeah, it could be smarter to hold onto the money for the actual soundrack and the art book (if it actually gets localized eventually) rather than their truncated version in the LE.

Still waiting on the Canadian price; I know it's gonna hurt.

At least $100, no doubt.

Goddammit

I hope they at least provide us the option to buy those Fates Cipher DLC characters. I want them.

It probably won't sadly, no chance of the soundtrack due to licensing issues of some sort. I was anxiously waiting for that splatoon art book to be localized, but i bit the bullet and just imported it instead (even though i barely understand any of the text in it >.<), if splatoon didn't get it, this one probably won't either.

Are these Nintendo special editions really this sparse in the States? Xenoblade is still easily available here in Europe. Anyway, will buy because Jpop.

I could easily see Dark Horse or Udon localizing the TMS #FE art book. It's just that these things tend to happen around 2 years after the Japanese art book has released, so it takes time.

The LE OST is obviously included here, so I wouldn't say Avex is blocking its release in North America, either.

Its only the fire emblem fates one and the bravely second one though I'm not sure of bravely is because of SE or nintendo.

XenoX one is still available today direct from amazon.

Looks pretty whatever tbh. But at $80 maybe if I happen to be browsing amazon when it comes out and I can get it with the Prime discount I'll grab it, I doubt that'll happen though.

Is the DLC something they sold seperate in Japan or was it only for the LE?

Squenix produced the Bravely Second CE, though Nintendo still handled the distribution.
