That's not mismanagement. Lots of betas work this way (Gears of War 4 did this).

Regarding the cutscenes most (all?) are pre-rendered, albeit rendered in-engine with high LOD models and elaborate lighting setups. There is also some small amount of post-processing of the rendered image to do some final color grading and image effects (flares).

I like it. The movement is still there from 1. The upgrade system is not that bad, gives you something to work to. Btw the roll upgrade is like the second upgrade so before you even really gonna start playing you already have it. Combat is oke. Really basic for now in the beginning but atleast they really worked it out in this game. Its real a open world kind of game now btw. With all the usual side missions, collect this, bring that etc. Takes getting used to i guess. But gameplay itself with the parkour suits the open world thing imo. Like in AC just free running getting on top of buildings etc.
The story is meh atm. Not really paying attention to it. Its a reboot but for some reason it feels like a sequel story wise. Starting from prison, own money to someone. I dont know feels like it starts and expects you to know stuff.

Thank you so much. Managed to snag an Asian code for Battlefront as well, living in Asia for 6 years really paid off

Sometimes betas drop some textures for the sake of download size since its not the final game. I'm sure they won't have that glaring level of problem in the final game.

Considering the PS4 download is 9gb no way that's the final assets. Everything's been either cut or lowered considerably.

I think at the moment your best bet is so stalk this thread and maybe DICE employee's twitter feeds. Cus I don't think many codes are going out atm and you might end up spending $13 only to get a code free tomorrow when the codes DO go out

It's hard to be precise, because I can go from 60 to 110 FPS, depending on th situation, but let's say I'm having 80 FPS of average, 1080p, maxed, on this rig:

Mixedbag feelings about the game.
Parkour seems streamlined and more forgiving, with less grip, no crouch jump and an 'hold LB to do complex stuff' philosophy. But on other hand looks like more versatile, you can perform/chain more stuff.
Combat seems garbage: weird feeling, atrocious AI, bad collisions/polishing. Totally expected from DICE, it's their usual Battlefield SP standard, but still disappoiting.

Got an Xbox One code not too long ago, but it wasn't from Twitter or a website though.

From the pics of the Xbox One version, I'm guessing and hoping that this is a very early version that is being used. Some of the textures are either not even loaded or very low res. I'm watching a streamer play at all Ultra on PC, and I'm seeing similar textures there too that look like they are blurry or aren't loaded properly. I made sure to ask what settings he was running at and he did tell me everything was set to Ultra, and he has no issues running any games on Ultra.

Yeah i just got to that section with the view over the city and its just one blur. Like 360 blur. No way its gonna look like that at the end. I mean the Xbox is not a beast but its not that crap also. Atm Battlefront looks 10x better.
PC version for comparison: (Same scene but i adjusted the FOV)
It looks much better imo.
