Why is Toronto called "the 6?"

That's 3 more than if you're reading this it's too late. What are you whining about exactly? This album is going to be awful, especially compared to the hype they have wanted to create. 20+ songs for this type of album is wayyyyyyyy too much.
And this is coming from someone who was pleasantly surprised by "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," all that good will is gone in my eyes now.
Love thissssThere you go Drake. I made your album cover.

TorontoWhat the fuck is the 6?
What the fuck is the 6?
I always thought it was the 6 in the original Toronto area code 416.
But apparently (according to a post few posts above) its the six cities forming one big Toronto mega city.
So.. we got Richmond Hill, Markham, Scarborough, North York, Metro Toronto, Etobicoke?
I donno, seems a bit of a stretch to me, I am still goign with the 416 (original area code of Toronto, over half a century, before cell phones were a thing.

Copying pablo20 songs?

East York, York, and "Old" Toronto, gimme a fucking break, those "cities" don't even add up to the size of Vancouver downtown, York and East York were named probably back in the day when, people had to walk or take the ol' slow ass street cars everywhere. Anyways I have no idea what I'm trying to say here, but 25 years of living in North York, I've never heard anyone say to me they live in "York" or "East york" or "old Toronto"LOL no
East York, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, York, and the City of Toronto.

But I've heard many say they live in "Scarborough" "Nort York" "Downtown" "Etobicoke" "Richmond Hill" etc etc.
Pretty much this.It would be a cool cover if the 6God didn't look shopped in. That shit seems like amateur hour.
You made that kanye waves cover too right? Dude your really talented.
Stop trying to make "the 6" happen Drake

A shit cover for what will most likely be a shit album.

thats a 3edgy5me if i've ever seen one
That's probably because they, like you, are too stupid to understand that York, East York, as well as Scarborough Etobicoke York and "Old Toronto" (Which is just what it's called now) were actually six distinct cities prior to 1998.
Whether or not they're bigger than Vancouver has literally nothing to do with it.
I always thought it was a 416/647 thing but I guess they both make sense. Either way, six has always been my fave number, so I don't mind it, even if it is dumb. <_<
The inevitable photoshops are all part of Drake's publicity plan. He knows what he's doing here
