so whats going on with Rime?
They pretty much have ownership of the movie license. Well Sony Pictures has, maybe they learned to work together and Activision obviously has no interest in renewing the movie tie-in contract.
They leaked GoW4, that was their first one so that's about it.

Nope, their first one was Pokemon Sun & Moon, and they also leaked the Avatar films new logo a month ago. They seem legit
Will be probably published by Gamestop. Sony does not have the IP anymore.
Gametrust said:Insomniac Games: Song of the Deep
Frozenbyte: Unannounced
Ready at Dawn: Unannounced
Tequila Works: Unannounced
Sony dropped it last month. The developer says they're still moving forward on development.
dropped it? really,, what could have gone wrong?
This game looked so good in so many ways
The deal disclosure that the Tequilla Games project is unannounced, RIME is an announced one, so I dont know.
I'd guess they're probably just calling the game "unannounced" publicly while some of the ink dries on everything that went down between TequilaWorks and Sony.

Spider-Man game by Insomniac would be incredible. Can't think of a better fit for a developer working on this licence.

I highly doubt ND would make an open world game. They value strong story telling over everything else and open world games typically suffer from poor pacing. If ND made it, you can bet it will still be a linear game, perhaps with open ended level designs like Uncharted 4. Honestly, Sucker Punch would be a good team to make a Spiderman game.IMO? Naughty Dog. I know that they aren't the obvious choice but they are exceptional at everything they do. It would be a great opportunity for them to try something new since they've been making linear cinematic 3rd person shooters for the past decade. Open world, simple but intuitive gameplay, top of the line graphics and awesome story. They would kill it. Hell, they could probably even use the MCU Spiderman as a voice actor.
Sucker Punch games are too simple. I think they can make a good Spiderman but not an amazing one. And Insomniac is hit/miss.

Perhaps, but I never played Gravity Rush, so I can't judge the quality of their games.Gravity Rush team is a good choice too.

Fuck it, give it to ND.

Local store? You're Malaysian, right? Anyway, no, I haven't seen PSVR anywhere in Malaysia. Could be because I'm not looking for it, though, I don't plan to buy it until a year after launch at the earliest.Traversal is great, one of the best flying experience in game.
Off topic, Jav, do you know any local store take PSVR pre-oder?
But their whole mandate is they don't publish games they don't own the IP for. It's why they (probably) passed on Sunset Overdrive.
I thought that Sony is only offering some publishing support, but it's actually going to be an indie game. Mostly Kickstarter or otherwise crowd funded. What about Shenmue? Isn't Sony the publisher?

That could also be CGI for films though right?

Bit of shameless self-promotion really, but I did a video looking at all of Sony's first-party studios and discussing what they're working on, where they go next, and what some of the rumours surrounding them are.
Hopefully one or two of you enjoy the watch:

You forgot the gravity queens new game though =P
Hmm.
Second language french?
Does that hint at a french studio being behind this game or is that standard?
