The domestic stuff with regards to immigration policy, supreme court justices, paid family leave etc mostly only concerns american.

Looks like my theory is correct - it really was all anti-establishment virtue signalling with no loyalty towards actually working towards progressive goals.

Speaking exclusively towards the most recent incarnation of the self-destructive "left" that manages to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the name of purity tests designed to prevent the first step toward progress ever happening, if it wasn't clear. Trump wins in a landslide thanks in large part to disaffected Sanders supporters voting for him.
