You are wrong. The evangelical population in the US is a full quarter of the country's population. edit: and they are a disproportionately powerful bloc.

No, I'm not wrong at all. If you read my post I'm talking about you characterizing them as all crazies who don't think Catholics are Christian and the pope is the anti-Christ. Are you from the South? If you are you must be isolated as hell if you think most evangelicals think like that.

Yeah, I haven't met a single evangelical who thinks like that. And I know some conservative ass conservatives. They're not fond of the current pope, though, I can say that much.

Who do you think lead the raid?

How can he do that while he's sleeping?

Why are Cruz and Kasich still in it at this point? Neither can win, Trump is doing better than projected and the dipshit duo teaming up actually makes them look worse in the eyes of voters.

They were under the delusion they could both stay in. Effectively by announcing an alliance they both pulled out.

Yep, for all the hooplah over white Evangelical support of the GOP, 21% of those same white Evangelicals voted for Obama last election. The vast majority of them aren't fundamentalist in the full sense, many may be very socially conservative but they're rarely straight up crazies.

4/1 isnt so bad for Hillary. Too bad Bernie's not droppong out, his message has grown tiresome.

Ah well, my bets on him being forgotten shortly after the convention so I can't complain too much.

Good riddance.

It really is amazing how divided the GOP is right now. The only way Trump wins this election is if he can pull moderates to his side. He's already off to a bad start by calling Hillary unqualified to be president because she's a woman.

trump is already throwing out meatballs like that before anyone outside the GOP genuinely 100% focuses on him

kinda salivating about september/october now

Yep. It'll be great that he stops talking about issues that are affecting every single american right now.

If her economics are Republican, then so are Bernie's. Unless you think raising minimum wage, college support etc are Republican Economic policies?

Nop, but free trade agreements, deregulation of banks and continuation of poor taxation implemented by Bush and Obama surely are =/ People forget that Obama made the Bush era tax cuts permanent. What makes you think Clinton is going to be different from Obama? They're all sand from the same sack.
We just don't have a real Democrat party right now.

Oh, that's what we're getting with Clinton for sure.
A social democrat with republican economic policies :P

When has she said she wants to cut taxes? What part of her record makes you think she wants to cut taxes?

When has she said she wants to gut medicare, social security, and other welfare programs? When has she said that she wants to increase military spending while cutting everything else?

When has she said that she wants to shrink the size of government? When has she said she wants to repeal Obamacare?

If you find the answers to all these questions is that she hasn't, and that there's nothing in her record to suggest she will, and you still think she's a republican on economic issues, then you have absolutely no clue about where republicans stand on economic issues.

*sigh*

She's said repeatedly she wants to raise taxes on the wealthy, and she even wants to raise taxes on everyone else slightly. She wants to keep Dodd Frank in place, which regulates the banks, heck she voted for it. You have no idea what you're talking about.

And what do you think led to making the bush era tax cuts permanent. Don't you think it might have something to do with, I don't know, the republican party holding the government hostage?

I wouldn't bother, guy basically implied Obama was a republican too.

It at least seems better than an economic democrat with republican social policies like killing Planned Parenthood. Sanders really betrayed his anti-abortions view there, even worse than Trump.
Everyone can use crackpot theories.

For those who don't remember: Obama didn't want to extend the Bush tax cuts AT ALL, but the Republicans vowed to block all legislation. He compromised, believing that Republicans would give him room to maneuver after that, but they didn't.

And that, dear gaffers, is Obama's presidency in microcosm.

But don't take my word for it, read more here!

But he won a state tonight. Momentum will carry him through!

Not only that but he won the only state with an open primary, ya know the real democracy ones.

He actually bragged about that.

Sure I lost 4 other states and 60 some odd delegates but I really won because they were all closed and thus clearly part of the south aka they don't count. #Winning

Someone really needs to ding him on the "We're out of the deep south" comment. Uh-huh, and how did that work out for you?

Opening line is Not only are we winning the overwhelming majority of Democratic votes....

WHAT?

What does that even mean.... does he only count the votes he wins. What did he reset the counter after the South because those conservatives don't count?

How can you literally say we're winning the overwhelming majority of democratic votes on a day where you won, one fucking tiny state, where your delegate gain there was bested by Clinton's +3 delegate win in Connecticut alone. Where he got blown out in Maryland and Delaware and lost decisively in Pennsylvania. Where are these majority of democratic votes coming from.

So by my calculations (may be off), Trump is set to get

Connecticut - 24/28 (only statewide is proportional, 10 delegates, he has 60%~ so loses 4)
Delaware - 16/16 Winner takes all
Maryland - 38/38 seemingly won all districts above 50%
Rhode Island - 15/19 (only statewide is proportional, 10 delegates, he has 60%~ so loses 4)
Pennsylvania - Wins all the 17/17 statewide, the other 54 tbd.

So he wins 110/118. Massive. He was originally predicted to get 74.

FYI this is wrong -- CT Statewide is WTA about 50% and so are the CDs. Trump got over 50% in all of them so he gets 28 delegates.

And that clip was them at their more calm levels.

They all fucking lost their freaking minds repeatedly later.

Especially when that Aussie guy came on and made them all look like completely morons.

Oh here it is, enjoy the part where they just start yelling expletives at him

And here's Jimmy going yeah, Trump will do a lot of bad and hurt people but I'm a white guy so fuck it bring it on let's accelerate our movement!

Well done to the Queen! May her coronation happen sooner rather than later. :p

Holy shit her popular vote lead is now over 3.1m! Surely this should be a fact that she's more popular for Democrats? But it seems like some Sanders supporters want to continue living in their little bubble!

Edit:And wow at that TYT meltdown they were insufferable before but have really gone off the deep end even looking at the positives of a Trump presidency!

Sanders claimed today he's winning the overwhelming majority of Democratic votes, and no I have no idea what he means by that.

Holy shit that's hard to watch. That section on Obamacare was embarrassing and that Australian guy must have thought he was talking to children.

They think there was a secret better plan Obama squashed because he was a centrist (minutes after calling him a transformative progressive like Sanders) and when it's pointed out how the ACA barely passed a Democratic controlled Congress they start ranting about how Hillary won't get anything done and Clinton got impeached for a BJ. Pretty sure the guy with glasses was a few sentences away from a stroke.

How do they give Joe Liberman and Bart Stupak a pass and give Obama all the blame for the failure of the public option?
