I was expecting $79 due to the kindasorta crappy AUD, so it was a pleasant surprise. At $79, I still would have hemmed and hawed a bit vis-a-vis keeping the Special Edition pre-ordered, but at $69, dropping it is a no-brainer.

Wait till it's on your TV... I haven't been able to even progress because of photo mode, fuck it... Game isn't going anywhere.... I feel like a professional photographer playing around with all the angles and shit.... I am sure some will blow photo mode out of the water with pics...
 
I don't think I ever seen so many people begging for low scores just for the "meltdown lolz" It's to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if someone repeatedly posts the lowest scores on multiple pages, along with a reaction gif to get a reaction so they can add it to their meltdown compilation quote post.
 
I think people are so expecting the meltdowns, you all are going to be disappointed, people here on GAF after so many embarrassing review threads have the awareness to not say something that will put them on the wall of shame, they'd be extra careful not to sound like a raging fanboy even if they are furious from the inside, the days of Jeff's 8.8 insanity are over, maybe very few will fall but don't expect a full thread of madness like it used to be.

Y'all didn't read the quantum break thread did you? Meltdowns always happen for exclusive games, it's just the nature of the beast.

It's happened before, especially video reviews. If you can see all the media you want on Monday before the game releases, what's the big problem? I still haven't had anyone answer that.

Well the game scored pretty low, if U4 will end up in the high 7 area than sure, it will be a riot but what are the chances?

Besides the QB thread wasn't half bad as it used to be in similar cases, and again, it's a pretty extreme case of a big anticipated game scoring high 7, which means enough gave it 6 or even lower for this to happen, it make sense some will lose it.

Man, i just took a quick look and fuck me it looks better than anything I've seen in a while. It's scary to think this game may get a PS4 Neo patch.

Some of the textures do appear to be low resolution and some of the modeling is low poly. The carpet and chandeliers look funny, but I love how Naughty Dog lit and staged each scene the game. The lighting in the game looks very impressive in smaller spaces as you can see light bouncing around, but obviously the game is using shortcuts as apparent in the larger areas.

Wonder if it will be Polygon again.

Expecting a pretty harsh review from Eurogamer after their latest preview, but it won't be as juicy since they don't score anymore, people won't lose their shit because they didn't award it with "recommended".

Hehe, I think Dan is reviewing this one.. But I'd like to hear jeffs thoughts since he isn't a particularly big Uncharted fan.
 
Troublesome development, gonna make the game kinda inconsistent, plot holes, missing parts, etc.

I won't be surprised if its betweenn 7.5-8.5.

Hope I'm wrong.
 
I think I'm going to land on 91 as my final prediction. I think it will be incredible but a few reviewers will go fairly low due to franchise/genre fatigue
 
i'm guessing metacritic score to be 89-93, to those who have a copy of the game can you confirm if the multiplayer servers are online ??
