If I were a Japanese fan of RPGs, I'd take my time with P5 before getting FF XV.

FF XV is the kind of game that will be better 2 months after launch, after a few content and performance patches (due to it being open world).

Meanwhile, P5 will most likely always be the same it was at launch, minor bug fixes excluding.

I could see a late November-early December being theoretically done with localization, but tbh, I'd be more likely thinking Jan-March 2017, given that huge daunting gauntlet that is AAA fall release window.

I hate Atlus. 2017 hell of a year in video games for me. The only 2 freaking games I care about. Waiting to P5 in summer 2017. Europe winter of 2018.

Not in Japan. MGSV for PS3 sold 230,000 last year, and the PS4 version sold 420,000, with both versions making the top 20 sellers list for the year there.

The PS2 was in a different place in 2008/09 than the PS3 is in 2016/17.

I can see a late 2016 release for the west. I'm ashamed to say that I can see myself buying all the dlc they showed. Got what I wanted out the Stream which was another party member introduced.

I'm not salty, but I'm sad. Atlus is way behind the times on this. They could make some bank porting over P3/P4 for PC and P5 for PC would be awesome. Sony is happy though I presume as this is the first game that will make me get a PS4.

So three new party members were fully shown and unless I missed his reveal, during the walk at the end there was one more male character whose face wasn't revealed it seems. Happy to see the game still has a great sense of style.
