I assume the cat becomes a tiger.
Bird Pokemon generally just turn into bigger birds so I'm not expecting much from the owl.
The clown seal with become an abomination.
At this point I'll probably pick the cat based on potential, not feeling any of these three first stage forms.

I always pick the fire starter and I'm so glad that this one looks good. Also some more player customization is always great. I will have to see if it is worth picking up a 3DS for this.

I like Rowlet so much that, if I still had my 3DS, I would buy this thing and give the Pokémon franchise a fair chance. The only Pokémon I ever played was Red via emulation a few years ago. Truth is, I'm not into portables and there's no mainline Pokémon game on consoles

I think it's a new move. Seems like it'll be exclusive to the Rowlet line (for now) due to it's similarity to plumage. Probably just a version of razor leaf that uses it's feathers.

My immediate reaction was that the starters SUCKED. But then I saw the official artwork and looked at the video, and just like that, they're already my new favorites. Better than Gen 5 and 6's for sure! Also fuck yes this region is all Tropical n' shit like Hoenn was. Looooove iiiiit.

While I'm not totally down with the starter designs better graphics won't suddenly fix bad starter design.
That being said overall graphics look fugly for a game releasing in late 2016. In that regard we need the NX handheld ASAP!

Hm....the art makes me like Popplio more. Litten is still so uninspired looking. Rowlet looks so adorable.

With the NX Console pushed back to March 2017, who knows how long we'll have to wait for the handheld component. Either way, with the 3DS starting to wind down as far as Nintendo's internal efforts go, a new handheld shouldn't be far off. But given what we know now, it was likely too far off for Game Freak to wait. I do agree that they should have just gone with Z on the 3DS & saved Sun/Moon for the next handheld (NX Handheld or otherwise), but I've made my peace with the current scenario a while back.

I'm kinda the same, but this is what makes it fun with reveals. Who has the sickest evo line.
Gen 6 was cool because they never showed us final forms.
Damn I'm so torn, they're not bad. Right now I'm leaning torwards Rowlett or Litten.....
One thing that changed my mind was the Legendary. I will def be getting Sun, that Lion looks sick compared to the Bat.
