Rowlet looks best of the first stages, but it'll most likely stay Grass/Flying the whole way through, which isn't overly exciting. Paul Puopolo meanwhile could end up anything, I'm interested to see where it goes. It'll be between those two for me.

Litten does seem really generic, and not quite up to par with what one would expect of a starter Pokemon - however, I do think Litten has the best potential in terms of its final evolution. A fire/dark type final evolution for Litten could look pretty amazing.

My opinion of Litten approved after seeing the art of its back hair stuck up. It's a neat touch.

The final form will probably have lots of fans, but I've never been a cat person so I'll probably stick with the other two.

I was thinking the same thing. I want to do it, but I'm sure I couldn't avoid all the info even if I tried. I might also be disappointed with the version I got if I didn't check what exclusive Pokémon each game had before purchase.

My guess for Rowlet is that it becomes like a Victorian gentleman owl, with a creepy cloak made of leaves. Maybe add in Assassin's Creed hidden leaf blades.
