greenmangaming page says developer Square Enix PDD those were the xiii saga guys right ?
inspected page and price showed up lol
One of the boosters might even make the game run at 60 fps. Might be the simplest way to implement that.
PDD probably just means "production development department". It does not mean anything.
Please include the original OST, please include the original OST...
$30 for two great games is a deal.
I hope it sells more than Steam FF XIII.
Oh my god. I didn't even think of this. Someone please fix his face.Mods removing the voices and re-skins for Tidus will have my blessing!

I could see that being the price but I wouldn't take that as a confirmation. If you did the same with ff9 before release it was listed as 50 dollars lol.on gmg inspect page.
Do we reckon there's going to be no chance of forcing an unlock on frame rate?
Read they designed the game to run at 30fps which makes my piss boil.

Anyone know if there is a resolution limit?

Usually have a 20% off coupon too... 24 bucks I may bite on. Even though I now own 4 copies.
I don't see how this is even an issue for FFX anyways being a turned based combat system. I mean generally higher frame rate has a larger impact if it was a game was heavily reliant on it's speed like a twitch shooter or fast paced action game like Devil May Cry, or Fighting Game like Street Fighter.
Immediate purchase for me, like all FF ports on Steam. Hopefully we get word of I and II before long, considering they are just Android ports.
a tip for those who can't be bothered to level up the whole party:
don't use the blue lion man

FFX makes it so easy to level everyone up. You just have to participate in the battle for one turn, and everyone gets the same amount of experience even if there are more characters who took part in the battle (i.e. it's not effective to have one character battle solo in order to level them up faster).
It's worthwhile to get Kimahri to the point where he can effectively steal some Lv. 3 Keyspheres during a specific Kimahri-only boss battle, at the very least.
This is very bad advice.

Do your best to Overkill every single enemy (especially bosses) by making sure your final blow to them deals lots of damage and you double the experience they grant you.

-shrug-
It may just be me who finds him useless both as a character in the narrative and an actual asset to the team.
Pfffft whatever. Kimhari is awesome for armored enemies like Auron. Just sucks for special abilities.a tip for those who can't be bothered to level up the whole party:

The player can switch between Japanese and English audio, and also be able to choose between the original and the rearranged soundtracks.
I've said it before but I want uncropped HQ FMVs. A simple replacement mod won't do, the HD remaster ones are clearly higher res. I know most people aren't bothered by the crop though. :/
They need to be cropped, though, because they need to be the same aspect ratio as the game itself. There's stuff like the cutscene where Yuna, where the scene transitions fairly seamlessly from in-engine to CG. More importantly, though, there's stuff like the part wheresends the victims of Sin's attack on KilikaIt's a very clever trick that wouldn't work if the CG remained at 4:3.Tidus exits the Zanarkand dome for the first time after defeating Yunalesca. It looks like you're on a different pre-rendered background, but you're actually on the first frame of a CG cutscene, which then "unpauses" once you walk a certain distance away, rotating the scene around to show Sin and the airship.
There are a few other examples too, but you probably get the point.

In relation to my previous emulation comment, I guess this would bother me.I understand that, and I know this makes me some crazy purist, but I'd much rather have it just break the illusion and display black bars on the side even if it makes things less seamless, or even just give me the option to play the whole thing in 4:3. Awkward framing because of cropping bothers me way more.
It's a shame they didn't have the means to rerender for widescreen, I believe that's what they did for Kingdom Hearts's HD remasters
