Usually it's the age difference and the Dick Grayson/Nightwing factor.

Dick and Barbs were the same/similar ages so their coupling made sense. Bruce and Barbs was a bit weird because he was generally seen as mid 30's possibly even early 40's and dating a girl who was presumably fresh out of high school, or maybe college/still in it. It was never made specific.

Also the Batman x Catwoman fandom is way stronger and more interesting.

Not creepier than Celine and Rene, and while she was in her late teens when they got married, he first met her when she was 12.

Though, you can also say they were technically adults when they got married and had a loving marriage. I guess it depends on your perception. As long as they are consulting adults when they get together, it's not bad. I mean, hell, considering all the naysaying here, I've seen more people defend incestual relationships between parent + child and siblings on the grounds of "they are consensual and adults, they are within their right" than are okay with BrucexBarb(who are not related and would've started a relationship with each other while they were both "consensual and adults").
