What if Curry takes his talents to Tryon Street, though?

Its been too easy for them. They won't be battle tested for the finals.

Whether or not the western team can take advantage of that is another thing.

Doesn't matter how bad Cleveland destroys the Raptors. They're still losing in the finals. Sorry, Lebron isn't getting a title with Cleveland before retirement. He should just ditch his city again for the West.

I'm pretty sure Verajao has been compromised at this point. 73 wins will make a man question his loyalty.

He is definitely a lost cause. It will be hard to reign Verajao in. Bron Bron might have to do some dead horse head in the bed shit to remind him who is the real home team he's playing for

Going to a WC team is a terrible idea. In the EC he can breeze through the playoffs and not get wore down by all these tough series like the WC teams do.

Unless you're suggesting he take a huge paycut and play for the MLE on a team that's already a contender, which would never ever happen.

Note the much higher quality.

to be fair it's probably easier to make a gif like this when you're working with a respectable hairline

Quite an achievement regardless of the outcome, the city of Cle deserves this.

Yeah I've never understood why people act like second place is this horrible thing. There are teams and players and cities that would LOVE to have as many second place finishes as Lebron. The fact that he has completely ruled the East regardless of which team he is on the past 6-7 years is incredible. He hasn't lost an EC series since I think the year before he joined the Heat. 2008? That's ridonkulous. Dude is a legend and all some folks wanna do is tear him down because he switched teams as a free agent and celebrated at a pep rally.

Honestly at this rate one championship isn't enough to furfil the lands goals. Figure you got a team with the highest payroll in all of basketball this team was brought together for the long haul and I feel we've yet to see the best of the big 3.

The Yankees only winning one championship in the last decade is an absolute joke in my opinion with the staked teams they've had, and if the Warriors are legit they'll win the next two titles on a 3peat... No knocking on wood here buddy.

Eh, it's not even just Lebron. People have the same or similar criticisms of Brady in the NFL and Messi in soccer. We watch these incredible athletes and want to say how terrible they are because they got second place a few times. It's bizarre.

Have you actually watched LeBron, though? The guy is a walking ego. Not saying I dislike the guy, but people like to see egos like that fail. And as far as people are concerned, second place isn't good enough for athletes who have a head the size of Texas.

The fact that he left Cleveland to win with his buddies, then return as if he's making the second coming, makes him an easy target. Gifted athlete, but people root against him for a reason.

I actually root for him because of how humble he is in most of his interviews. Not all sure, but the ones I've seen. I know he has a big ego but he never fails to give credit to his team and his opponents

And please, we're not going to retroactively act like busted Memphis, the Rickets, the Clippers and the Mavs weren't absolute basura at times this year just because they showed some life in a handful of playoff games. The East was better this year, but the two best teams are in the West.

I think CLE can beat OKC (I don't think a team that plays that fast and loose with turnovers can possibly beat 3 straight well-coached teams) but that doesn't really matter. GSW ain't losing 4x in a week.

Guarantee I'm going to screw up this post? Yeah.

You're naive if you don't think every pro athlete has an ego, regardless of sport. Imagine if Jordan played today with social media, lol. That dude is a huge asshole.

Fair enough. But a lot of athletes do that.

I'm just saying that the spectacle LeBron has made makes him easy to criticize. If he gets over the hump and wins with the Cavs, then it's a bit different. But people won't really relent until he gets to that point. Winning with the Heat on an absolutely stacked buddy system is a distant memory in basketball now.

Well, yeah. All athletes have egos. But LeBron brought it on himself with 'The Decision'. People are going to criticize spectacles like that. Especially when he ends up returning to Cleveland later on.

And let's be honest, Jordan earned the right to be an ass.

I think the Cavs are losing for sure in the finals, but LOL at holding the East Conference against Lebron that's weak as fuck. He's supposed to wreck them and he does. There's nothing bad to speak of there.

How many years have the eastern teams had to make competent teams against Lebron? That's not his fault.

EVERY pro athlete has a huge ego. Yes, even the precious Curry. Flexing and taunting the bench of the other team before his shots even go in the basket. Michael Jordan had arguably the biggest ego ever.

Memphis, Dallas, and the Clippers were absolutely destroyed with injuries.

Exactly. But even back in the 90's, there were probably legions of people that wanted to see Jordan fail. That's how it works. The difference being that Jordan silenced those people. LeBron hasn't gotten there.

It's beautiful, the frauds in the east are getting Cavs faithfuls hopes up only to be shit on in the Finals.

2/7 here we come.

Warriors in 6

Thunder in 7.

Cavs look good but they don't look unstoppable or anything. Warriors and Thunder would have both swept the pistons/hawks as well in similar fashion.

And Raptors just look bad. They have no business being in the ECF. Only reason they are in it right now is because Whiteside went down for the Heat.

After watching the 30 for 30 about Cleveland Sports Franchises, i really want the Cavs to win, but at the same time I know Curry will go SSGSS and the Warriors are going to win.

What does ego have to do with the fact he's been in the finals for consecutive years plus consistent play throughout his career? Kobe was insane in that regard and countless of other players throughout different sports. I personally do not care if a particular player is an asshole ( granted some people do ) what I care is about dominance, appreciating the guy play.

People are just petty when it comes to LBJ but that's just the social media era that we live in... Imagine if the Goat MJ played with social media ooooo lord lol with his gambling issues and blocking Issiah Thomas from the dream team guaranteed shitstorm. However, Barkley gave no fucks Respek.

Curry be flexing/"I'm back" and no one says a word but that's life *shrug

I love curry btw if he only had fall to the Knicks..(fuck the Knicks) I've been saying ever since his chronic ankles days he was going to be good (not this good tho lol)
