Banned site apparently.
I'm guessing you don't know that Gran Turismo sells more units in Europe than it does in North America or Japan.Didn't know Rwanda was in Europe.
Also, those countries probably make up for 2% of all Gran Turismo players.
Yeah, they got their info from the japanese website article that was posted earlier. It's just restating the same things that were reported earlier.Banned site apparently.

When in the list there are just Belgium, Norway, Uk and Turkey, you can hardly talk of Europe.
so... nothing about the sound in the q&a? what?
i know i'm giving myself false hope here, but i'm still curious as to what kaz had to say about it.
Auto blog claims it's a vast improvement. Many people who have played say the sound is a notable improvement from GT6.
Ok this was posted in the other thread:

The sound here is much better. I'd actually say everything is much better. Why didn't they show this last night?
It's not perfect but it's much better than the shit they showed yesterday.

Wait, i know about weather, but no day/night cycle or dynamic ToD ?
It appears i chose the wrong time to come back to GT : (
For example, here I am in my 2015 Mustang GT doing some 0-60 runs and even with an aftermarket catback exhaust on the car it's still almost hitting that "vacuum cleaner" sound when recorded:

OK. Here I go (and this is just about the physics - the rest can wait a few days as I've just got back after a good 2 1/2 hour drive).
I drove the following to get a good range of impressions:
MX-5
MX-5 Race Prep'd
Lotus Evora
Renault RS.01
Aston Martin GT3
Pug 908
I stuck to Brands Hatch GP and the 'ring tack wise as I know both well and in total got around 1.5 hours of seat time with around 10 to 15 laps of the Brands Hatch GP circuit in each.
First and most important, its a significant step forward from GT6 in all areas, the tyre model is far more progressive with break away better modeled. Suspension and weight transfer again improved and most noticeable of all the aero model has come along in a big way.
Aero was the easiest to feel, as I moved from cars which should lift at speed (the MX-5) through the RS.01, the GT3 Aston to the 908 they all felt far more planted through the corners.
The MX5 around the 'ring was great fun, with the car moving around in a very convincing away and very adjustable.
Torque steer is all present and correct, and caught quite a few out at the start of a number of races I saw when waiting for pods to free up.
I was speaking to @SlipZtrEm via PM last night and both of us expressed concerns regarding the weird movement from the streams, this seems to be an issue with the code being used in the spectator mode, as its certainly has nothing to do with the actual handling of the cars and is not present at all in the replays from single player races or time trials.
Overall I'm impressed with what I experienced.
There will be dynamic TOD, but weather won't
The 'Ring was more of a mixture, there are some proper ruts in the grass now which looks great, but something about the rest of the grass didn't look quite 'right'. I also suffered some frame rate drops and flickering of the scenery which was quite noticeable.
The game comes out in 6 months,so now was the right time.Ring is probably not finished yet. What a huge mess. Just make a trailer and wait for the right time to reveal the game itself ( demo stations etc.).
Maybe dynamic weather for neo version... Didn't Sony say neo version can have enhanced versions of ps4 features ie 2player split screen Co op on ps4 can be enhanced to 4player split screen on neo?... So may weather can get enhanced to dynamic?
If this is true then maybe ppl were right about ps4 games being under developed.. How can ps4 not have dynamic weather when ps3 did... I know sport is aiming for 108060 but like ps4 is well more powerful than ps3 right...p cars be doing it....
Im probably missing something obvious
So basically they've improved in the areas that matter the most when it comes to racing? Now I basically just have to hope the sound in the streams were just placeholders and I'll be pretty ok with the direction they're taking with the game.
Sounds were a mixed bag. The race MX5's and Golf were OK, the GT3 Aston and RS-01 were great and the Evora was bloody horrible and nearly game me a headache.
Experienced a few knackered pairs of headphones so can't be 100% certain with my points. On the whole they seemed like a fair improvement. Best comparison I can do is for the Golf GTI, since my old man has an 'R' of the same generation and I would say the sound is very close to how the real car sounds when its cabin resonator/speaker thing is switched off. The MX-5 sounded reasonably sporty, and the difference in volume from bumper/cockpit view and chase cam seemed more apparent than in previous games. The F-Type sounded very good too. The tyre squeal is a bit overpowering although it is not as bad in practice than it is in the videos shown on here.

Sound
Finally, after a multitude of disappointments, Gran Turismo appears to have sorted its audio out. It might peg itself as the real driving simulator, but having a Le Mans car that sounds like a hairdryer doesnt really do justice to that title.
While playing the preview we made sure to drive cars that wed actually driven in real life. The Golf GTI was close to the real thing, but the GT-R was absolutely bang on. Gone is that strange flat drone that Gran Turismo used to love so much, instead the GT-Rs twin-turbo V6 actually sounded like the real thing. That slightly digital tyre squeal has also gone. It does need more volume though and that irritating background music has to go.

Replay frame rate seems to be unlocked, but it definitely isn't 60.

I think I've noticed some of that inconsistency just from the streams. Some cars sound ok while others are terrifyingly bad. I suppose there is still a chance that they're working on them and the worst ones will sound better by release but given their track record that's probably wishful thinking.
The recording is pretty bad so I can't really tell from that.

Ferrari sounds quite a lot better in this video but I still think it's going to be a case of where a few new/showcase cars have decent sound while the rest sound like shit, just like how the boxer engines were actually okay sounding in GT6.
If they improve on the lack of sense of speed I've seen in the gameplay angles I might still buy this near release.
Replay camera is fucked anyway. Very akward camera angles all around the track.
So there's still no confirmation of a day and night cycle?
I think you may mean the Nurburgring 24hr race. They'll be at the Le Mans 24hr next week, maybe have something prepared for that.
