I don't have a personal stake in such a feature(ex pc gamer) but it would be a great addition. With Microsoft continuing their attempts to link PC and Xbox gaming it would be a great counter move by Sony.

Yeah. Whenever company is over (especially when it's my cousins' kids) and I need to have something to show, the amount of game options would explode for me.

I think there's definitely less hype this year for MS' conference (I mean compare this thread to the Microsoft one. This one is like 5 times bigger). Everyone seems to be focusing on Sony this year, especially after that crazy conference last year, and not just on GAF.

It helps that Sony has a lot of potential. Multiple first party studios primed to reveal a new game, Japanese games, old IP that can be revived and updates for upcoming games.

MS feels more like a known quantity with what info is out there right now.

- Spiderman
- Sony Bend game (DDR)

Of course we haven't actually seen any footage, and they're all rumours , but there's enough smoke to be able to make baseless assumptions of Sony's raw muscles they can bring to this show.

It is not non sense. Activision only has to rights for movie games AFAIK and will lose that soon. Sony has worked out a deal with Marvel (Disney) and he appeared in Civil War and get's his own movie. I think part of that deal might have been Sony making Spider-Man games.

They have GTS set for November now, so i'd expect TLG to slide into October or possibly December if it's still going to hit this year.

There are a lot of Sony rumors but really nothing about Microsoft right now. Definitely seems like they are keeping a tight lock. They definitely did it last year with backwards compatibility. I think its all due to their 2014 E3 conference getting leaked. There really weren't any surprises.

I'm expecting both conferences (Sony and MS) to be really good. I will probably automatically love Sony's conference if Crash Bandicoot is confirmed to be honest. I would be far more excited for a new Crash game than Last Guardian, FF7, and Shenmue III (Sony's big E3 2015 showings) combined due to my gaming tastes.

Well, Sony doesn't always surprise but they have the potential for it for sure. MS, on the the other hand, are unlikely to have a bad conference but they also fail to have that one moment that just blows a lot of people away. They do just enough to have a mostly solid or decent conference year after year. I want that one big moment from them. That one big moment being a Jade Empire reboot.

I do agree with what you're saying though. MS doesn't have the first party and perhaps industry connections to pull off stuff like that.

I don't understand posts like this. Posts that make it seem that stuff like this is utterly impossible. The same happened with the holy trinity reveals from last year.

I dunna, it just wouldn't. It's awkward. Everything about it would seem really off, idk just me I suppose.

Part of me believes it, part of me doesn't. I think it's obvious they are working on a new IP, but at the same time ... where the heck is inFAMOUS 3? Finish the trilogy man. Second Son/First Light didn't feel like an end, it felt like a start of something brand new. We'll get iF3 at some point (hopefully with cole back at the helm) but it's just looking really unlikely :/ Wouldn't mind if SP makes an All-Stars sequel, they are quite capable.
