That is the dev kits and knew about them (Dev tools I think of as the software)
I have no idea if it is possible but I just assumed these new dev kits would service both PS4/PS4K. In fact I thought I'd read somewhere that these kits have a PS4 mode switch?

What's hilarious is I'm not the one changing the definition. It's literally a special little flower Video Games get exceptions with no one else does.
There are some people who are excited, but look around the internet, especially after the confusion and backlash described above which I am baffled believe didn't happen. I never said it was everybody, but it did happen, the internet was all over the place. Since then it's been really quite. When we got some new news about Shenmue and FFR, for the former not much buzz, for the latter there was buzz but it was mixed with the episodic announcement.

I don't know... I think this approach would hurt the adoption rate of the new and more powerful model. I don't know the actual numbers but I would think shifting focus to the new model would be more profitable for them.

Nah, I'm happy for them to continue trying, as long as it's doing something unique or something to differentiate itself from the market. Resistance 3 was great. Killzone 2 was great. MAG was great. Killzone Mercenary was great.
I think probably most in-house Sony devs would be wasted on FPSs (except maybe SSM), so they should partner with third parties if they want representation in the FPS market.

As for "exists" no, that's not how it works, it's never how it works, video games are no exception.

I think there was mention of another Level 5 PS4 game after NNK2 was announced by an insider, maybe by Verendus or someone else deduced it from his or another insider's previous posts. I could be wrong though.

Oh man, with those 69k sales Shenmue 3 will be a big success, wait that's not how it works.
Also we have no idea if the backlash was more significant or not, but there was clearly a lot of it. Some of it even happened, as linked above, after the kickstarter as well. Having a $3 mill kickstarter campaign doesn't really mean anything.
Remember how the Ouya sold 50 million uni- waiiitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.
I really don't think you know how this works. You've said this twice now. a Kickstarter success doesn't mean anything. The backlash could be millions of people but 70k could still bring in enough to reach the goal. Look at Ouya.

What I'd like for Scott Rohde to be on-stage. And for Shawn to be representing WWS as well.

Yosp and Boyes. Boyes not only because he's a good presenter but also when he shows up he makes Square's (at least on the Japan side) biggest announcements. If KH3 (with 2.8 most likely) shows up at Sony's show this year he will be the one to introduce it.

Is this place near E3? Because it's pretty common to promote your games in E3 even though the game may get delayed, but I hope devs make it in 2016

And don't call me naive, there was a lot of it, I linked articles and told you what to type in on google. You can even use different wording and get even more results.

Has nothing to do with people being hyped, it's people being hyped ignoring there were a lot that were not.
The usual suspects: Shawn Layden as the main host, Boyes introducing partnership projects and fan service games, Gio with smaller stuff, and such.
There's also that one guy who was at E3 last year and PSX with Adam. I can never remember his name because it's a little unusual but he does a good job.
I have a strange feeling we won't see Shu unless there's something huge coming from Japan Studio.
