And that's really unfortunate about the fan backlash. I started off disliking Spock (amazing nickname) but grew to love the character and story a few issues in. Such a great insight into Peter as Spidey without even having him there.

pCARS had 80k backers if I remember correctly, and it is probably somewhere bit below 2M sales.

It's actually an established trend that Kickstarted games can sell many, many more times than the amount of backers they had. That banned user was confronted with several statistics and sources to that fact, and still went "HAH I TOLD U KS GAMES DON'T SELL LOL".

Something that allows swinging. UC4 rope mechanics and animations make me want a Spidey game with that level of polish soooo badly.

I believe they had glass powers in mind for second son but they never came to light. Would have been cool though. Here's hoping they'll have it in iF3 with cole back from the dead.

I remember brainstorming ideas for an Infamous 3 with a buddy of mine a little while back. Our idea was essentially an X-Men style conflict where conduits are divided between two sides: Those that think they're superior and should be running the show, and those who would rather try to live normal lives as a part of society.

The idea involved Cole returning somehow and finding himself caught in the middle of the conflict. He's seen as sort of a messiah figure since he stopped the Beast and was the first conduit really in the public eye. As such, both sides are trying to convince him to join them. The choices would involve choosing which side you're on. Normal folks and the government would be an x-factor.

Agent is most likely dead. Certainly the one that was being worked on by Rockstar North. GTA games take them long enough to develop without having another game on their plate. If they announce anything at E3 it'll most likely be the next Red Dead. We all know it's coming, so it's just a matter of when they decide to reveal it.

It's been waaaaaaaay too long. The leaks weren't that interesting and at this point it's probably very different from them if it still exists so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm still kind of hoping they'll reveal it, but more so from how awesome it would be for all these games that were thought of as vaporware impossibilities suddenly existing again than actually being hyped for the game. But it's Rockstar so I have no doubt that if they do release a trailer it'll be awesome and get my hyped up immediately.

That is an interesting take. Agent, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro...

As far as I know, they haven't even made a public announcement as to their E3 conference at all...they sent out invites to press members, but usually they at least mention it on the PS Blog and have a press release or something

I didn't say that definitively, it's just what I'd heard but wasn't fully confident in. It could very well show up at E3. In fact I'm leaning towards it being there now.

Why are thinking it will be at E3 now? Unless, Sony launches it in July or August since sales will crater if the PS4K comes out in October or November.

Cannibalization of sales is a risk but it depends how soon the console is out. I'll definitely upgrade myself, as I'm sure much of the current installed base will too I imagine, seeing as they're mostly made up of core gamers that want the latest tech.

If they can't keep leaks under wraps now for an October launch, there's little chance they can continue to hide it until PGW. I think they'll more than likely supplement the announcement with a price drop for the base PS4 model to spur sales until launch.

Hmm, I never thought of this.. There is no precedent to this scenario, so I don't know how well things are going to workout for them.

All I know is that Sony better have crystal clear messaging when approaching this Neo fiasco. Market confusion is the last thing they want when MS is more than likely going to announce their cheaper X1 this E3.

Last year they announced on the 6th of May they were not having a GamesCom conference. They have said nothing yet about this year.
