This is the biggest bullshit.
It wasn't a useless barometer when the Bulls won 72 games. I don't think you've been alive long enough to understand how hard it is to win 73 GAMES. It's pretty much at the point where people think that a 74 win team might not ever happen.
Could someone explain to me how homecourt advantage system works in the playoffs?
Team with higher regular season wins gets home court advantage in a playoff series. Order of games is first 2 games at home of higher seed, next 2 games at home of lower seed, game 5 at home of higher seed, game 6 at home of lower seed, and game 7 at home of higher seed.
Could someone explain to me how homecourt advantage system works in the playoffs?
winning or losing one of the 7 games doesn't affect it though?
73 wins Warriors is still one of the best NBA teams in history. Let the haters hate.
it doesn't matter how great your regular season record is if you don't win the championship.73 wins Warriors is still one of the best NBA teams in history. Let the haters hate.

Wait, are people actually saying they'd rather have 73-9 and a championship rather than two championships? !
Why are you even watching the playoffs then? Seasons over lifelongs!
Wonder if Curry will get dumped on anywhere near as much as LeBron would if he were in this situation.

Let your meltdown continue73 wins Warriors is still one of the best NBA teams in history. Let the haters hate.
It's a toss up between pre-Decision Cavs-Age and Rox-Age when the dream of a Yao/T-Mac dynasty was alive and well in the hearts of Miguel, DMczaf and The Stealth Fox.
So the GS warriors are the 2007 pats? Hahaha
Even the 2007 Pats reached the Super Bowl.
tbh the WCF may as well be the finals this year
Losing teams STAY wishing for a Regular Season Championship trophy.
It doesn't work that way. For anyone. Just take the L. Series aint over yet, but if they lose, that's that. No concessions, you lost.
Nah LeBrons still going to win one for Cleveland.
he's not winning 4 tho
So the GS warriors are the 2007 pats? Hahaha
Being undefeated in NFL regular season is much bigger deal than 73 and 9.
Pats suffered worse imo. Not only did the perfect season come to an end but Tom Brady got wrecked by everyone for talking shit about not scoring a lot vs the Giants D. There was a lot of salt in general from all directions after that Super Bowl. Much more than now.
73 and 9 is just not a big deal tbh. I think Warriors could very well push for 74 wins next year if they get some more firepower in free agency.
History across all sports shows that regular season records without a championship get mocked, not celebrated.

Only idiots mock such a great achievement.
honestly I think 73 wins is a bigger deal. it's a larger sample size and they had to play every other team in the league multiple times. plus for some added context teams were going at them night in and night out to be the team that beat golden state, especially when they opened the season undefeated.
he balls so hard, mothafuckers wanna fine him.dude's the greatest. no one in the NBA can ball like him.
73 wins Warriors is still one of the best NBA teams in history. Let the haters hate.
If they don't win a championship this year and don't make it to the final/win the ship next year with Luke(people are saying is the mastermind behind this offense) leaving. The love for this dude and family will go down.Doubtful since it's the WCF. The decision is what earned Lebron a lot of haters. Plus the sports media is in love with the dude and his family.
I think it shows what happens when you are too cocky and just don't play basketball. It just goes to show you how hard it is to make it back to the finals in the west.
The Giants were a much bigger underdog back in 2007 compared to OKC. They were a wild card team that year. This OKC team just knocked off the Spurs who were also really good. It was just much bigger impact in 07. Plus Eli threw that one impossible pass for the dagger. Going undefeated in the NFL for an entire calendar year is just more special imo. Giants legit crashed a historic event.
If the Thunder close out the series, are they one of the best teams in history? They would certainly be a better team than the Warriors since they beat them on the court.
Only idiots mock such a great achievement.
the schedule is H-H-A-A-H-A-H
the team that starts off at home is the one with the better regular season record.
if you start off at home, you have a better chance at being up 2-0 in the series, and even if you lose the next two, if you win game 5, you'll be up 3-2 and you'll be in a better position.
winning or losing one of the 7 games doesn't affect it though?
They are the better team in the series, but they are not the better team throughout the season. It's simple.
Doesn't it change to H-H-A-A-A-H-H during the finals?
They are the better team in the series, but they are not the better team throughout the season. It's simple.
Oh shit, for some reason I thought they switched it back when they shook up the days the finals games were played on.
Sweet! The Spurs are better than the Thunder too! And since the Spurs took so many games off to rest players (causing losses) and so far have looked better versus the Thunder than the Warriors, I am going to declare this years Spurs as one of the all time great teams as well! Who needs to decide anything on the court when comparing two teams?
Lol. Which is why it's happened several times, and 73 and 9 has happened once. Not to defend Clown Fiesta Curry. I don't like defending Clown Fiesta Curry.Being undefeated in NFL regular season is much bigger deal than 73 and 9.
I believe Greg was not worried about them losses and was seeing what worked in the Xs and OsNope. Spurs are inferior and got smacked hard by GSW.
