Is this really a good idea?
I mean, they are launching a year later than the PS4K in a world where they aren't the market leader. The PS4K will ride on the success of the PS4 and launch at 400/$.
By the time Scorpion launches the PS4K would have been in the market for almost 12 months and cost 500/$.
What if Sony decides to cut the price for the 2017 holiday season and you can get a PS4K for 300/$.
Being the most powerful usually isn't the reason why a console is successful. Usually it's more like being a big enough jump at an affordable price. We could see a similar case to the 6th gen, where the PS2 won by far even if it was the weakest console available.
