Not really, most of the characters look to be the same height, they're just thinner.
Vegeta got taller over the course of Z and some of the height charts for the Buu arc handed to animators already had him taller than Bulma.

I more have beef with HOW he is saying it rather than what he is actually saying. Like, goku wouldn't say that. Even if it was explained to him.

Is there a link to the Japanese voiced version? I wanna hear how they explain it as well. Or do they say it is light speed as well?

Just don't take anything the old DBZ dub says as canon or even true. It had numerous translations errors at it's best and completely change character motivations and backstory at it's worst.

We can't have Bardock being a "brilliant" scientist or Raditz being faster than light taken at face value after all.

It's amazing how far the FUNi voice actors have come. I guess dubbing one bazillion lines of anime will do that, haha. They sound great in the newest material, but that old stuff is godawful.

I just dont like the new piccolo/vegeta and trunks voices. They bother me. I remember people on twitter pointing this out to Chris and Eric lol.

Those characters are still being voiced by the same people just with good acting this time.

Their Kai stuff has been consistently great and even more so in the latest movies, which is why they need to hurry up and release the Buu saga Kai dub already.

Love the old style, Cell/Buu is my default head DB artstyle. I still love the look of OG DB - Frieza Saga as well, but Cell/Buu has a nice balance of some sharper mature looking characters while still retaining that classic iconic look.

Cell/Buu artstyle was my favorite. It's pretty hard for me to pick, but I lean towards the Cell artstyle because of the GOAT Goku vs Cell fight.

Problem with that figure is that, it's more of a One Piece figure in terms of artstyle. In DB, the girls never really had huge breasts. It was usually modest at best.
