The Witcher III: Blood & Wine |OT| One last contract, one last plough

I think I'm gonna do the option to start a save leveled for the expansion. I wanted to do it in my New Game+ but I'm only level 52 and it will take a lot of time to get up to the right level. Next playthrough I do with all DLC and an upgraded video card will be glorious.

I've got a weird bug where I can lock on but there's a 50/50 chance when I do Geralt will put his sword away. I thought I had two key bindings set to the same key but nope.

Sucks. Try loading an earlier save to see when it happened? I'm glad I found out where my save went bad, but so much time wasted. All that Gwent. :P

Anyone know why my pc goes in standby while playing witcher 3 with a controller? This never happened before, every 15mins screen goes black while im playing.

What's wrong with the horrible boss fight against
Glumaar
? I'm playing on normal and this is impossible and quite unfair.

Edit:oooooohhhh, there's a trick, lol.

Just started this expansion -- this game has really great writing.

The first couple of interactions w/ the residents of Toussaint are remarkably efficient in setting you up to A. be prepared for a bunch of chivalric buffoonery
heh, tilting at windmills
, and B. find some of the citizens of Toussaint sympathetic none-the-less. And they let you know what you're in for w/ basically no awkward exposition.

I like this setting, particularly as I played Geralt as a goody two shoes who was obviously ironically uncomfortable with going out of his way to help people and wholly pragmatic about how little difference he could likely make for most people in the long run. Looking forward to seeing him bounce off of characters who take this type chivalric do-gooding to its sometimes absurd conclusions.

Did anyone recently do the horse race part of the
The Warble of a Smitten Knight
? I've narrowed my issue down further, and it's this race. As soon as it's over (I win), the ability to lock on is gone. Anyone complete it successfully and still have lock on working after this point?

Who else in here a bear bro?

We have the best armor god damn

For some reason bear armor goes way down for me after the first version of it. Doesn't look nearly as cool as the concept, even now (just got the grandmaster). I see why people love it though. I'll probably be rocking manticore or wolven in the end.

sucks that you cant save between matches in gwent tourney

need to do it all over again and hope for good RNG

edit: oh nvm seems to auto save after a win ! nice

See for me wolven looked great in master, but something in the grandmaster is bothering me. I also made manticore and it's too simplistic looking for me for an end game armor.

I made all three of them though, I have the wolf and manticore displayed in my Vineyard if I ever want to swap to them. But their full gear bonuses are shitty for me compared to bear.

I've got a bug in the brothel where the women don't leave the room so I now have 3 naked women in my room.

Great bug

where are the receipts?

While the Ursine gear is a looker, I always feel funny wearing it. Geralt running around in full heavy armor all the way to his toes just does't fit right with me. Also, think of Roach and all the weight he has to carry.

Cat school best school.

No clue how y'all have the patience to get them Witcher school gear crafted and upgraded in the main game.

The process is so tedious!

How's the other gear in this game that aren't the grandmasters?

Might as well ask here too.

Any latin american gaf around that got the DLC on US PSN.
I want to buy the season pass but I've no idea if buying it from the USN psn will work because I have a latin american copy of the game.

Free DLC worked fine when downloading from the US store (as did the DLC for Bloodbonre) but I want to be sure before spending $25 on this

The base game is just too long for my liking so never got to play it but the expansions are right up my alley length wise! Any build recommendations with the level 34 premade characters? Are the witcher sets unlocked to craft or do I have to hunt the crafting plans first?

Haven't picked it up yet, but wanted to know, are there weapon displays in addition to armor?

Iris needs to be properly displayed.

Yep! Which saddens me because I realized I sold all the cool looking swords and gear I wasn't using a long time ago :(

I wonder how much mutations can affect shit like quen. Full bear gear has a 200% damage increase on any quen related damage. So if I can find something that does like poison/fire/ice damage when my quen shield explodes then I'll explode in my pants

Just gotta do the final quest in hearts of stone tonight and then I can finally start this. So hyped!

Wrapped Hearts of Stone up last night myself to prep for this. So bloody good despite a small issue I had with the final quest,
timer was unnecessary
. Such an incredible expansion and I am looking forward to diving into the new one.

Came home from work expecting to have a wonderful evening playing Blood & Wine, having downloaded and patched it yesterday, only to find that the base game would not recognise it.

This was despite receiving the notification on PS4 that it was ready to play and it showing as installed on PSN.

Fuck this shit.

Very early into the expansion now and it's already amazing.

What is not amazing is running as a level 37 character when bandits at level 44 attack me. On DM it is near instant death :(

I was planning to play this tonight, but I've come down with such a rotten cold that I'll probably wait to experience it with a body and mind that is capable of holding a PS4 controller aloft without almost falling asleep from the exertion.

In the quest Warble of a Smitten Knight, are there multiple outcomes? I
broke the curse but shortened her life span, I was wondering if you could force her into the other option?

Actually having this issue as well. Finished the quest and I'm pretty sure I'm still having the issue as well :\

Word I like it a little simple sometimes. I love the first version of the bear gear. Wish I was on PC so I could try to swap the models.

I switch it up though. One day on bear, next day wolven, etc. A lot of the sets look good so I gotta rep them every once in a while. Bonuses be damned! I'm also on normal mode so I can get by without being super build perfect.
