Mirror's Edge Catalyst EA Access Trial Now Live

Def gonna check this out to see if it sells me on the game

edit is it not up in NA? I dont see the trail download it on xbox.com or smart glass

The beta was so blurry. I hope the full game fares a bit better but I somehow doubt it.
It doesnt

Blurry textures and some pop-in and such, but has been running really smoothly and I'm having a good time! (Didn't play the beta so this is my first whack)

I like the open world concept, multiple roots and ways to get places.

Watched a bit of that stream from Nintendad, and it looks pretty good to me, looking forward to giving it a play.

Yeah when I get the game I'm definitely turning off the super hand holding runner vision :P

edit: Looks like the tumble roll is one of the first unlocks. Good stuff, going too long in the beginning of the game without seemed really off watching Nintendad.

So like I haven't followed the game much but will there be DLC? Cause some of the achievements specify "Complete X in the main game". Why specify main game if you don't plan on doing DLC?

Edit: You can set Runner Vision to "Off", "Classic" or "Full"

Yes, you can turn the stamina bars off for enemies (as well as yours if you want)

There's user created content so that's probably what it means.

If the pc full download is down to 16 g from the recommanded 25g that is good news, because theg have most likely switch from pre recorded video cut scene to real time cutscene. Pre recorded in game engine should be a crime these days seriously.

16 GB is where the game becomes playable on Origin. The final install is still going to be around 23 GB.

I couldn't see any problems with the Beta's graphics and I can't see any issue with this so far. I was actually shocked when I remembered it was Frostbit and must be 720p

Usually the EA Access trials are for subscribers only. Iirc there are a few exceptions. PvZ: GW 2 for example.

What I mean is, after EA games come out the trails usually exit EA Access and become for everyone on PC.

That's how it is for Battlefield 4, Battlefront, Dragon Age Inquisition, Unravel, and I think more than that.

The game looks better than the beta but the image quality is still bad. I don't think I've seen a blurrier game on Xbox One.

There are noticeable framerate drops and some of the textures...

I'm not impressed.

This looks awful. Not just a bit bad, but terrible.

That's not a good scene to judge considering it isn't looking at any nearby environment. Infamous Second Son looks blurry at similar angles because it does a light depth of field effect on distant views to hide draw distance and such like this appears to do

Used EA access on DA:I and thought I should check this out and started downloading. Then I realized; have I been paying for the service all this time? Fook meee
