Curious? What kind of storage are you using? Playing right now and not seeing this game is super smooth and looks great. My games run on a USB 3.0 Raid 0 externalPlaying on XB1 I swear there's actually some kind of texture streaming bug where it loads a lower quality texture but never streams in the HQ one.
Woman who speaks to you after you get out the safe house has a really soft face and neck skin texture...
You talking about the beta that ran a few weeks ago or the current Origin access one?
I was hoping they'd sort that out for the full release.
I just tried it on EA Access. Mirror's Edge 1 looked super sharp, I don't know what's going on with this.
USB external. Never had any other issues before.Curious? What kind of storage are you using? Playing right now and not seeing this game is super smooth and looks great. My games run on a USB 3.0 Raid 0 external

I'm sure I'll get hit with a flurry of salt since some seem pretty down on the game, but this really feels like the next step forward for Mirror's Edge as a franchise.
Still has the beautiful world, music, smooth running, good combat (sue me, it's fun) and for the first time, a story that's worth a damn. I'm pretty satisifed so far.
I agree having a blast and to me it looks better than the beta and I'm not seeing any texture or frame rate issues. But I have noticed with many of my games even loading and menu screens are faster on my Xbox One since I moved to my new Raid 0 external setup. I play destiny a lot and menus don't lag for me at all anymore. That not right, nothing should effect those unless your PC seriously underpowered lolFor some reason the game has slowdown so bad that the game is pretty much unplayable and the cutscenes are unwatchable. Even the ea and dice logo at game boot is incredibly slow and laggy.
I'm not sure why this is because when I played the beta it ran without issue.
It's really not.

It is though. Here is how the game looks on Ultra. Didn't see any option to disable post process AA.It's really not.
Look at the loss of detail on that dude in the second pic.

Was anyone's intro also really out of sync?
Sorry, I play at 4K where these sorts of things aren't an issue. I see what you mean though, the game does look blurry at lower resolutions.

Is that PC or Xbox?First 13 minutes of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWQKfcuKJ3A
I would like to know your system and frame rates.
The LOD load-in in is super, super distracting. Good lord.
So, you guys know this is an open world game with no loading transitions between new areas that focuses on you running through the environment as fast as possible without stopping right?
I don't think LOD streaming was a big concern considering they assume you're getting from point A to point B as quick as possible and not stopping to examine the texture work.

Exactly.Dude. A sequel to Mirror's Edge is coming out and all people are talking about is image quality.
That's something that got talked about a lot with the original ME. It had clean, sleek and crisp visuals.Dude. A sequel to Mirror's Edge is coming out and all people are talking about is image quality.
