Why the fuck is there a dude with scifi armor wielding a magic flaming axe with wolves around him...
Please point out where they said Oryx's Dreadnaught was going to be in vanilla Destiny? (you can't, because it never happened)
Dreadnaught was just sketches on a desk when the base game released.
Only on PS4 would be even better. Then Bungie could optimize the game on only one platform.
Judging by the Destiny so far, I doubt there will be good maps. A lot of maps suck ass.Good PvP maps.
HC accuracy.
Nothing else is needed. Please Bungie.
Can someone explain me, why this franchise isn't on PC? Blows my mind.
I think it was in the big Kotaku story from a while back. It was originally planned to be.
Didn't they release a trailer with a shot of Saturn and one area that looked similar to the Dreadnaught?
Here it is https://youtu.be/y2Jx5__c1lY?t=37s
I believe there was actually footage of the Dreadnaught in the pre-release footage, but it was clip that lasted a few seconds.
EDIT: Here's the picture from Pathways into Darkness:

Obviously the Dreadnaught wasn't promised, but the content for it certainly wasn't made from scratch, it looks like it was in the works for a while before being cut for whatever resaon.
I dont doubt they had material started for the Dreadnaught, even that it was something they wanted to do, but nowhere did they say "hey youre getting the Dreadnaught"
We didnt even know Oryx had a Dreadnaught.

Well, after the datamining found separate armors for the normal and hard mode raid, which we didn't get, idk. Bungie made a lot of stuff that wasn't used.
Mercury looks more like a hub that was scrapped due to the late changes to the oroginal, and they just reused it for the 9-0 trials prize![]()
Did anyone snag the trailer before it was taken down?
For those interested.
I went through a tonne of prerelease material a while back and put this together.
Destiny - 1 Year On, Looking back at cut content I used 2 reddit posts as talking points. They could have both been bullshit but I felt the had enough merit based on released material I could link to what they said.
and for those who missed itpresssneakfuckJason Schreier did an amazing semi post mortem at Kotaku back in October. The Messy, True Story Behind The Making Of Destiny
That aside some speculation is currently happening that Rise of Iron refers to a new Fallen House the House of Iron, forming after renegade Fallen unearth Iron Lord tombs. A reddit user "Soulrakk" pointed out that since launch their has been a Fallen Walker public event on the Moon and the Walkers name is
Noble Iron Walker

For reference the House of Winter on Venus have a

and the House of Devils on Earth have a

Except that one vidoc where they talked about meeting the Queens brother on Earth and it would be available through the phone app or something. That was clearly promised. I have still not met the Queens brother on earth.
That looks more like the Abyss from CE only with more lighting than Dreadnaught thoI believe there was actually footage of the Dreadnaught in the pre-release footage, but it was clip that lasted a few seconds.

tbh i'm glad the second screen stuff died in a fire. one of the worst trends in gaming there for a bit

Trailer was never up.
Old Russia AGAIN?!?! Seriously?!?! Uggh. Yep this will officially be the first Destiny content I will be skipping entirely.

But the apps are almost necessary to manage my inventory :
In game management needs a huge boost. Loadouts are an obvious missing feature.
Likely. People also forget that Dark Below expired all vanilla items. House of Wolves retroactively powering up old content was an exception to the rule because it straddled a change in the direction of how further Destiny updates were going to happen.
It must have sucked really hard if they felt more comfortable with the final release than with the original scrapped vision.I still wish we could have seen the original game in its entirety.

God damn I need to max my guardians before this drops.
I'm so far behind, let myself slip behind :/
It needs more wolves. Why the fuck is there a dude with scifi armor wielding a magic flaming axe with wolves around him...
Is this going to be The Taken King in price?
