SE were probably pissed but FFVII Remake isn't something you can easily believe in, hence the crazy fan reactions when that bomb dropped at the conference.

The FFVII Remake leak was still very very questionable. Skepticism was rife in the rumor thread and the majority played along in believing for the hype.
It was a fantastic ride.....especially when Yu Suzuiki posted that forklift on twitter and people started screaming for Shenmue 3 and then The Last Guardian.

I hoped this would happen in the original Injustice, and I doubt it will happen this time. Seems like fighting games are done with console exclusive characters, which is for the best.

Post 1364 was the exact moment the hype absolutely exploded. What made it even better was that Y2Kev was know for his trollish behavior so emotions went crazy whether or not he was telling the truth or not haha.

Yeah, Siliconera posted around 2am that FF7R was real. That leak along with Suzuki tweeting out a pic of a forklift probably has Sony keeping those in the know about what's going to be shown at a bare minimum while also making sure that third party developers don't say or tweet anything that could indicate an announcement.

I didn't believe the FFVII: Remake rumor. Not even for a minute. I was blown away when it was revealed.

Yeah, it's right on the cusp of perfect right now, lots of random stuff bubbling for the Sony conference. Hopefully no full leaks tomorrow and Monday.
Yeah, it's like a wide swath of excitement rather than singularly focused due to the amount of curveballs they could seemingly easily throw in with all the kinds of stuff they could put in and all the wondering of even the basics like just how much Japanese stuff they might or might not put in there too since there was a decent amount last year.
Many felt those sources were just parroting the same thing though. Almost no one bought the leaks outside of just praying they were true. We just need to look at the conference thread for the proof, it was insanity!
Last years Sony presser injected fresh nostalgia into me, which doesnt happen a whole lot when you get older. Usually that shit gets used up during your younger years but somehow, Sony hit it first when they did the whole Xbox smackdown and then last year with the trinity of callbacks i didnt think were gonna work out. Not expecting it this year, but its nice to know there are still guys like Shu and Adam out there trying to make shit happen.

Anyway, I don't think we're going to get OMFG SHOCKING WHAT like last year but we should get a lot of games from a lot of first party studios and a lot of VR. It will be a full show, but I doubt it will be like HALF LIFE 3!!!

If TLOU 2 gets announced Neogaf will break. Though it's probably too early right now because they still have to do a UC4 story DLC.
That's why I'm not expecting it, but if it somehow gets announced, I will lose my mind definitely.
