Absolutely. Yesterday I took almost the same shots as you posted (albeit with lower res):

This is without a lighting mod and with heavily tweaked RGB balance through vibrance/tonemapping. Lighting mods seem to be better to get rid of the overly saturated green in the overall image, as further rebalancing the colors makes other things start to look like crap like the clouds in the sky or the UI.

I've also killed the in-game bloom. Sometimes I like it on, sometimes I hate it. I'm never quite happy with a single solution in Blood and Wine. Sadly, trying to get some bloom back in ReShade kills the FPS.

I doubt humans will survive until a day where we see almost universal satisfaction in which people are satisfied by how females and minorities look in video games.
If it's a female, something's too objectifying.
If it's a minority, it's too stereotypical.

I'm thinking it is. I loved that location. Just wandering around and suddenly there's a huge hole in the ground. And there are people in it. Trying to find a way in without falling to my death was fun.

Hopefully AAA games will stop being marketed towards young straight male audiences one day.

From what little I know of the Witcher books, sorceresses are made to look pretty because their profession demands it.

Unlike priestesses and druidesses, who only unwillingly took ugly or crippled girls, sorcerers took anyone who showed evidence of a predisposition. If the child passed the first years of training, magic entered into the equation - straightening and evening out legs, repairing bones which had badly knitted, patching harelips, removing scars, birthmarks and pox scars. The young sorceress would become attractive because the prestige of her profession demanded it.

So stop hating on the game for following the source material.

Says in the title, ALOT texture mods compilation. Saying that it's good is a bit of a stretch but it has its moments and looks better than vanilla in general.

Yup, Yennefer used to be a hunchback before she became a sorceress for example. The lines after the passage you quoted are interesting too.

The result was pseudo-pretty women with the angry and cold eyes of ugly girls. Girls who couldn't forget their ugliness had been covered by the mask of magic only for the prestige of their profession.
