No criminals that have guns, care to obey gun control laws that are associated with them.
By that logic we should legalize bombs.

Do we have a semblance of a clear motive yet? Seemed like a clear hate crime, but of course you have Rubio yelling "RADICAL ISLAM!!!"
Which is it? Or is it both?
After Christina Grimmie's tragic death, and this massacre of fifty people, I'm at shock and in disgust that people are actively defending the current gun laws. What will it take for you all to realise that the current gun laws are fucked up and not working?
I'm assuming that this is the shooter so do we know if he's a US citizen? And does his NYPD shirts mean anything? Did he go through the academy? Because if he did, he likely had to pass a psychological evaluation first.

I doubt he kills 50 people without an assault rifle. Someone would have tackled him when he was reloading.
I can't believe over 100 people were shot by 1 person. It's just mindblowing. So scary the world we live in today.
Right to bear arms != Right to bear all arms and carry them everywhere.
Keep your sidearm at home for protection, not in the streets. That's really all you should need. Anything larger needs to be locked away at the gun club or wherever you go shooting.
Obama please address the gun violence issue before you leave office. Mandatory background and psychological checks for purchases.
I can just imagine Trump and company rubbing their hands with glee so they can use this to further their anti Muslim rhetoric.
Man you are fucking right, why didn't I think of it that way. Of course. Damn I'm dumb, thanks for setting me straight.Show me 1 case of a semi-automatic AR-15 having been converted to fully automatic and used in a crime.
Shirts mean nothing. They can be bought at any tourist shop in NY.I'm assuming that this is the shooter so do we know if he's a US citizen? And does his NYPD shirts mean anything? Did he go through the academy? Because if he did, he likely had to pass a psychological evaluation first.

When would be the time and place for it?Judging by the amount of threads that unfortunately got created in the past few years it will get worse, much worse.
I find it shameful that some people just can not mourn the death but have the need to defend their stance.
This is not the time nor the place for it.
Originally, sure. But so are a lot of guns that people don't consider as dangerous based on looks alone.

The gun in the image above can be fired just as fast as an AR 15. And yet because of its "old" look, most people think it less dangerous than the AR 15. Now, you can do a lot more tactically with the Ar 15, it allows for various attachments (scopes, lights, etc). But the bullet firing speed is semi auto, just like the gun in the image above.
Dont think that necessarily is the case. In a situation like that, i think most people are in panic mode and only think about escaping.I doubt he kills 50 people without an assault rifle. Someone would have tackled him when he was reloading.
Yeah, after Sandy Hook it became clear to me that part of this country's moral and ethical fabric was completely gone. If that didn't motivate some substantial change, nothing will. We have utterly failed as a nation on so many levels.I've said it before, I'll say it again: America lost the anti-gun movement when nothing happened after 20 children were killed in cold blood.
I'll go toe to toe in a 3 gun match with a Ruger Mini-14 against an AR-15 any day. It's weird when gun nuts act so ignorant about guns. We're not talking cosmetics, we're talking ergonomics. The pistol grip, barrel length, stock etc -- these are specifically designed to make the weapon more effective in combat. Unlike the SL6, the AR-15 was designed specifically for armed forces.
Are you upset in life about every potential danger despite it never materializing?Man you are fucking right, why didn't I think of it that way. Of course. Damn I'm dumb, thanks for setting me straight.
Why are people so attached to their guns?
For real.#bangunpoliticsfromcasualtythreads
Out of curiosity where do you live?
It's the scariest danger of all from what I'm hearing, a true lone wolf that just decided to act out. How do you stop that in a digital world?
NYPD?
Why are people so attached to their guns?

Charlie Hebdo, Bataclan, the train attack where American military personnel subdued a man with an AK.
Those are all in the last 2 years
Shirts mean nothing. They can be bought at any tourist shop in NY.
I disagree. I think a man should have the right to bear arms and not depend solely on the protection provided by the state. When you start to increasingly give personal responsibilities to the goverment is when you start losing your freedom.
Well I mean a guy did kill 29 people in China with a knife. If he didn't have an AR-15 he would've killed 50 people with a knive...
Are you kidding me america?! Politicians blocking stricter gun regulations and the people supporting them have blood on their hands.

Half of legislators will say this is a great example as to why we need a database of Muslims. The other half will say this is a great example of why assault-style weapons and large ammunition magazines should be illegal. So yeah we're not going to collectively learn anything. Shooter was born in the US but that won't stop anyone from promoting bans for visitors.I wonder if we will finally learn from this tragic event
