So how do we think the GB crew will react to the EA conference?

I believe most of them are pretty big Mass Effect fans so that will probably be the highlight and they will probably be excited to see that the most.

Austin is a big Titanfall fan and Jeff seemed to like the first one so those two will probably be interested in the stuff they show for that.

If they show any of the multiple Star Wars games they're working on that will probably get some positive reactions. Brad will probably be the most excited for these games.

And I suspect they will be pretty tepid on all sports stuff they will inevitably will show.

That seems accurate. The 15 minute EA Sports segment is always a snooze fest at the EA conferences. Let`s hope they just go through the games quickly and don`t drag it out with another Pele appearance.

With Battlefield, Titanfall and Mass Effect EA seems to be in a better position this year than usual to actually have a good conference that could leave GB exited as well.

It's still EA though so at least half is going to some boring/dumb stuff that is basically just a waste of time.

Pele is actually still wrapping up his story from last year, ready to tell a new one TONIGHT.

Playing Robobot for a bit before everything starts up. Kirby has very quietly been one of my absolute favorite series, I always completely forget about them but just devour any new ones that come out.

To be fair, Prey 2 is still under wraps. It's my most anticipated game of the conference. I want to know what it is now.

That's true. I fear that it's just gonna be a generic FPS though, or at least the trailer will make it seem like one. Hope I'm wrong.

I need to add Danny to Periscope to get notifications.

Edit: "This guy is playing Shenmue over here", lol.

I'm probably going to skip out on watching EA's conference entirely. Still in the whole commuting phase and need to check into my hotel before the Bethesda event.

Last year, sometimes you had to wait once it ended. It seemed to take some time to fully update with an archive, sometimes it was instant.

Yeah, it depends on how smoothly they output to Youtube. If there's production problems causing them to stop and start (which breaks youtube's auto archiving/rewind), you have to wait for someone to manually republish it to the channel.

Yeah, was that the launch of YouTube live streaming though? Not sure if it was due to volume of streams or it's just more consistent now.

Is there a backup for #thedrive? Life got on the way of the road trip :/

Also, jeff.zone keeps that Geocities feel alive well in 2016

Last thing i remember them talking about the Mass effect franchise was during the most disappointed game of that year (was it 2012 or 2013?). Jeff was very adamant on it winning it but i think it ended going to Assassin's creed 3.

I believe it was a Brad vs Jeff argument.

I have to work tonight until 9pm EST. Will I be able to see the replays when I get home or do I have to wait until they post them? Like are they going to have a twitch archive available this time?

As usual, they'll get excited about gameplay that looks interesting or fun to them. I don't see them getting excited for any game just because it belongs to a franchise, apart from series that have been consistently high-bar and unique (e.g. MGS). Star Wars games are hit and miss. And the last Mass Effect wasn't great.

I'm actually exicted to see fifa. I only get one of those games every 3 years and this is the year! Get Maradona on stage! Or Donovan.

YouTube archive will be up shortly after the stream if all goes according to plan. They usually put up a version of the stream as a temporary archive on the site too within a few hours.

AC3 was the correct choice.

I just hope they get a better room to do the E3 commentary in than last year. That was basically the worst room you can possibly do something like that in. Super cramped with no windows.
