Maybe the scorpio will be. Early things pointed towards 2 Xbox's with similar internal components, so I would guess that they look the same, but different plastics.
 
where is everyone getting this "UHD Blu Ray Drive" from ? Are people pulling this out of their ass or is there a press release saying so ?

i don't see how they'd release a super bulky scorpio, 12-16 months from now.

There's gonna be Xbone S and Xbone "pro", same form factor.

Hah ! I'm curious how in depth a vetting you think the mods do ffs.

Ekim and Thuway etc have history, you'd do well to take everything the "insiders" say with a pinch of salt. You could always just go to Twitter and Reddit yourself and repost the rumours like they do , you too could be an insider.
 
Looks nice. A shame they didn't bring back the controller S, though. That shit was GOAT tier. Move the black and white buttons to bumpers and drop in a SNES d-pad and it's perfect.

This Xbox One S isn't for people who have an Xbox One already or folks waiting for an upgrade. Xbox Scorpio will fulfill that need. As cool as this slim Xbox looks I'd be a fool to get it with my already white fat Xbox One.

I'm waiting for that Scorpio.

Just saw it can stand vertically, very nice. The device looks great, I'll probably get one. Chances of it being offered in Black? Maybe they are trying to go all in with white hardware to differentiate from Playstation? Who knows.

That's what I thought, if this had UHD BluRay capabilities, wouldn't it say that?

Also, it will definitely drive up the price for sure....A $350 or so UHD player would be the cheapest on the market....Well, maybe not necessarily when The S releases...
 
This is potentially really compelling to me pending the price point. UHD drive (even though I just bought one) and the backwards compatibility stuff is attractive.

I'm thinking it's gonna be $299. Now way this thing costs more than $349, no fucking way. If MS does announce Scorpio tomorrow (which I'm kinda hoping they don't, now that Sony has confirmed PS Neo won't be a thing at e3) they still need to sell Xboxes before the release of Scorpio. An Xbox One S at $299 is a way to continue to do that.
 
Cant wait to get the fill details. Wonder what they mean by 4k support. (hope its just just video playback and such)

Like the design of the case though. Pretty.
