Xbox One S: 40% smaller, 2TB, 4K for movies/tv, internal PSU, $300

Just saw it can stand vertically, very nice. The device looks great, I'll probably get one. Chances of it being offered in Black? Maybe they are trying to go all in with white hardware to differentiate from Playstation? Who knows.

Or they want to give current Xbox One owners a reason to buy the new slim one. Feels new if it has a different color.

my tv only has hdr10 so i have to hate dolby vision and wish for it to fail. fight me kyoufu

Should've bought an LG OLED 2016 model bro. You'll have to settle with mediocrity :p

Well I hope at least Sony shows up with Dolby Vision support this year, otherwise I'll probably look into getting a dedicated player instead.

You're incorrect.

The design on the Xbox One is a far more timeless design. Current PS4 design will look outdated and goofy within a few more years. That slant already looked a bit funny at launch, by the time the next console comes, it will look dated as hell.

This has to be the dumbest damn argument. You either personally like one or the other for personal reasons. Noone is incorrect. You guys need to give this a rest.

Looks nice. I'm unsure I'll get one though, my duke is doing fine and I kind of like the external power brick because it keeps the system cooler . Besides I'll need to save that cash for the potential Scorpio next year.

yaa it was a close call, 2016 oleds were too much so between 2015 oleds and this year's sony sets i opted for the latter.

in any case, 4k pc gaming is fucking revelatory, get on that train bruh

edit: another selling point for me was the sony having a best in class upscaler, a lot of stuff inc the consoles are gonna need that for a while. oohhhhhhhhhhhh

Same here. I don't even have a 4K TV, nor do I plan on getting one for a year or two. By then, Scorpio will surely have released.

Same. BUT that looks sexy as hell!

So the OT for the MS E3 conference livestream needs to be named:

#CreativeChatter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But it's not. I am sad.

None of Sony's TVs support it so unlikely.

weird shape IMO, looks rather tacky in white. The air vent holes were better styled on 360 with a slight pattern to them.

HDR = high dynamic range? not sure
