Xbox One S: 40% smaller, 2TB, 4K for movies/tv, internal PSU, $300

Oh, will MS talk about Scorpio tomorrow then? Also will the elite controller work with the Xbox One S?

rumours say no scorpio talk and I would say yes to the controller. there's no reason it wouldn't work. I don't think anyone is cruel enough to sell you a $150 controller that doesn't work with a console revision.

This better be cheap. Especially with the Turbo edition coming out a few months after.

The 2TB drive is going to add to the cost, if they wanted to make it as cheap as possible i'd expect them to use 500GB still or 1TB.

I think it's either a replacement model for the current price, with a newer powerful model down the line being the top dog.

The rumor is that Scorpio will be mentioned but not actually shown.

ekim said that there are multiple SKUs with different storage sizes, so figure the 500GB or 1TB model to be $249/299. If it has UHD BR then 349/399.

Yes, it's a Gears 3 promo image. Kinda a weird inclusion.
Hmmmm, curious, when you throw that in with how their response was, and how the info was on the public server.
What if they planned the whole thing, generate more attention, maybe a necessary ingredient for how they plan to reveal Scorpio.

Should've bought an LG OLED 2016 model bro. You'll have to settle with mediocrity :p

Well I hope at least Sony shows up with Dolby Vision support this year, otherwise I'll probably look into getting a dedicated player instead.

None of the 2016 Sony or Samsung support Dolby Vision. I have a Sony 65x850c 4K tv that supports HDR 10. I probably should have waited to get a LG with Dolby Vision.

I knew getting an XBox so close to E3 was a bad idea... But it was $60 off, so I don't feel so bad, and I can't use the extra bells and whistles, so I'll just use MS's response o the leaks.

That's actually a beautiful design, even though I don't want/need one. I got my 500GB X1 original for $175+tax w/ Master Chief Collection exactly a year ago which was pretty nuts even back then, it's perfect for just Xbox exclusives.

Base model 1tb $299
2tb $350
Hail Mary edition only available in holidays :- 500gb $250

Anecdotal I know but my work (Target) hasn't gotten in the 500GB models in months. In fact, I think maybe December was the last time we had any. We put in orders for more, but never get any. I think they're phasing it out. If anyone finds a 500GB model in a brick and mortar store, they better get it for a steal.

The white xbox one looks very modern and really aesthetically pleasing. I would say it's the best looking console out right now.

I have the Sunset Overdrive bundle and I think my white Xbox One is quite the looker. The gamepad also looks awesome and the Lunar White variant complements it well.

White makes it right with the Xbox One.
