Whaaa? That doesn't make sense, RE7 started after RE6 pretty quickly if I recall (planning, at least)

There are spending all there money on mobile and losing it .

They should take some of their MH money, and re-evaluate their company

Really doubt RE7 is exclusive. If anything I'm betting that RE7 at most might be timed like ROTTR. However there is probably a RE VR game which will be exclusive to PlayStation which is what is getting confused here. I won't be surprised at all if more than one RE title is announced tomorrow.

Doesn't matter to me since I can play it wherever it ends up. But that's my two cents.

Resident Evil hasn't been good in 10 years? How about nope. Revelations, is one of the strongest RE tittles ever. 5, and 6 are pretty good, not RE4 good though.

With that said, I would be shocked to see a RE game be exclusive, especially main entry.

There are reasons why SFV didn't perform as expected on PS4, but I don't see why console exclusivity was one of it.

What I don't get is why Sony is so heavy into 3rd party exclusives these days. Most franchises sell much better on their console anyhow and looking at their portfolio, they are still the only ones who are at eye level with Nintendo when it comes to 1st party support.

Maybe they're trying to regain that PS2 dominance with thirdparty exclusives everywhere? Who knows.

capcom's ROI probably would still be much higher in nintendo consoles/handhelds compared to something like a AAA MH game on ps4 so...

Its what I am thinking too. They will probably have the RE7 announcement and afterwards an exclusive VR game called Resident Evil 7: Something, like a side game that expands the plot with the same characters etc. Would make much more sense than the main game being exclusive.

What? I was just saying - the guy sounds very sure of that. He should leave some room for doubt. You never know with these things.

Also, Didin't OsirisBlack indicate that Deep Down was coming back as a Neo showcase? And outside of myself, far many others have hinted on the DMC-PS4 deal in the past. This shouldn't come as any surprise to those who have been paying attention.

No, they weren't. 6 is better than 5 in practically every way except graphics. Rev 1 was also an actual horror game.

That's probably part of it. We know something happened with the IP, and if it changed hands it's possible Crash is in Skylanders for a promotional thing since that version is PS4 exclusive.
