Well we already know Dead Dont ride will be shown so that's Sony already showing off a new IP, that's 1 more then Microsoft and Bethesda.

I would say its stupid move. They need to show games and price to go along with Neo instead of announcing like MS did. For me, MS announcement is a bad move and they seem to forced (afraid of Sony PS VR and Neo momentum) to announce just to make Xbox one also powerful and supports VR from next year. I hope Sony goes with their own plans instead of bumping specs (which increases price, powerful console wont win and its affordable/balanced console which wins in sales) this year as they can launch powerful PS4(5?) in 2018-19 instead and they can easily ride with PS4 and Neo for next 2-3 years as they are in leading position.

A very subdued E3 so far.
EA and Bethesda just did what they always do.
Microsoft flopped trying to sell people on their new vision for the XBOX platform, without showing any especially new or compelling franchises.
Hopefully Sony will have some nice surprises to reveal, and show some promising new games.
I wasn't hyped for this E3 at all, figuring nothing would beat last year, and so far I'm justified (and thus not disappointed!)

To me this E3 hasn't been awful. It's just a bunch of updates on games we already know about so far.
Ubisoft will have the annual new IP but don't expect much in terms of newness from them.
Sony is really what I have no clue about. We've gotten so man teases but who even knows if they are happening.

It likely won't match last years (it'll be tough to match TLG, FF7R, Shenmue) but they have so many big games both announced and unannounced still that I think they have enough to not be anything like a downer. As long as they choose the right reveals.
I really doubt Sony has any new games to show considering what we know of the developers work timeline. The games we would see is Horizon, maybe some independent sponsored games like Abzu, perhaps Dreams and something new from Suckepunch.....
I wouldn't raise expectations to be honest, it's best that way, so we can get excited even if they showed something very little.

Xbox conference was bad IMO, Scalebound gameplay looked poor. Forza looked great but does a forza game come out every year now? I was expecting a new IP but nothing, been a little bit disappointed by everything so far from all conferences.
Considering how this has gone so far. That'll be all that's needed to make people jump out their window lol
As someone who only games on PC, the Xbox conference was amazing. Gears 4, Scalebound, Forza 3, Dead Rising 4....all coming to Windows 10. I'm a happy camper. Plus MS will still receive money for their first party titles.

i dunno man. ps4 has done well partially because of the "better/most powerful" perception by both enthusiasts and regular consumers. word of mouth spreads. capturing the hardcore/enthusiast crowd is important.

Me too. I'm excited for the For Honor campaign demo, the Watch Dogs 2 demo and they always come with a surprise announcement.
But if Sony has RDR they've already won.

It would be awesome but improbable if Sony released the Neo this October at $349 with basically the RX 480 ($199) in it which has 5.5TFlops.

The best thing to do is to not expect it to match last year. That shouldn't be hte bar for any conference because it's going to be near impossible to clear.

Well we already know new games thats going to be in Sony conference like GOW4, Suckerpunch New IP and DDR(bend game). The main reason for MS conference was disappointing due to bad gameplay demos, no new IP's, no real exclusives(everything comes to Win 10) and no wow visuals. Hope Sony games does have wow visuals, better gameplay demos and fresh new IP's.

sneaky press fuck hinted on Twitter we may be seeing their Pirate MMO game. Definitely gonna check out their conference now.
As all the other games it also comes to the PC so personally I won't ever have a reason to buy an Xbox. Although most of the time Microsoft exclusive games aren't for me anyways.
Sucker Punch is not even hinted to be at this years show... I think you are confusing them with Insomniac and their (supposedly) Spiderman game.
PS4 didn't sell better because it's the most powerful. It sold well because MS literally fucked up. PS4 was also $100 cheaper.
I doubt Sony is "spooked" they've probably known about Scorpio longer than any of us, and neo will be on the market for at least a full year before Scorpio even releases. Don't see how Scorpio will mess up Sony's business model with PS4.

Well, considering that Take-Two said that they're coming to E3 in a big way and that still hasn't happened yet, I think there's good reason to be expecting some good announcements at Sony's conference.
