I should note that a lot of people ask us about "The PC press conference" and "why we aren't covering that." That's because it's not a press conference, it's a sponsored event put on by PC Gamer. I heard last year's show was heading in the right direction, hopefully they've got some interesting announcements lined up over there.

I was interested in a few games but the only thing I legitimately hated during that was their camerawork. Stop cutting away from the feed constantly.

It's kind of silly that people still can't figure out if Dead Rising is coming to PlayStation or not.

Seemed clear to me since they didn't say "exclusive" during the conference. If it had been exclusive, they certainly would've let that be known.

It's Capcom. I think it's probably more than a temp exclusivity deal.

MS is publishing it apparently. So we can count on Steam version at least.

People are claiming this is gonna happen in the Scorpio thread too, and all I can do is raise an eyebrow.

IIRC they only said capable of supporting 60 hz and 4k, not that everything would come that way.

No way all games hit 4k60 consistently unless Scorpio is 600+ dollars.

Spencer himself said "4k Gaming" but he could have said "4K gaming output" which would just mean scaling. I am not sure if he threw that output in there.


But during the little Scorpio Video, they said 4k Gaming again. So hmmmmmm.

A ton of people did; in the conference discussion thread, people were editing that image to cross things out as they were being presented.

Literally the whole conference was leaked before it happened.

Sea of Thieves, Dead Rising and Forza for me. Will get Inside and that happy game eventually just because I have to be in a specific type of mood for indie games usually.

There are still unacceptable limitations with UWP and I have little faith in Microsoft's long term commitment to the platform. They've shown a willingness to just drop support when an initiative stumbles.
