Giant Bomb @ E3 2016 | WEED3

Played cards against humanity with random people across the world last night. Was fucking awesome. People can both socialize with your friends in real life and in strangers in VR. Both are fun.

I guess. But I can't see doing that and not just wishing I was playing with my friends instead.

This is too close to mimicking socializing without actually being it for me to feel comfortable with.

But I'm not judging. It's just how I feel. And as I said, it's not completely rational either.

Im so glad Red Steel 2 not doing super well didnt mean Jason V was locked away in a dungeon somewhere never to be seen again

The illusion is disturbingly convincing. Even in The FOO Show, where the other people are actually pre-recorded and aren't even directly interacting with you, it feels like you're in the room with them. You aren't the only one to express the concerns of isolation, but I hope you get the chance to try it someday if only to understand.

It's exactly because of how close it might be that I find it worrisome in a way.

Like, what if it replaces actual interaction for some people? How scary is that?

I just get a bad feeling about it.

I kind of wish the whole game was just the one on one fighting. That stuff reminded me a little of Bushido Blade, the rest of this feels more generic.

I really like the way this looks but then again there's a bad ass viking dude so I was doomed to be interested in the first place.

For Honor looks pretty cool. Like some of the GB dudes were saying I hope there is different play styles between Vikings, Knights and Samurai. Hope they don't have the same combat with just different skins.

Edit: ^At worst/best it looks like a badass Musou game.
