Showed the same trailer that was released and got some old news about Zygarde..... Ninty why u do dis

Is it just me or did the world look a bit empty and lacking detail?

Because they showed some wide angle landscape shots? The point of the wide angle landscape shots was to establish the scale of the game.

They also showed close up shots with content, like shooting down beehives to attack enemies.

Big open games are a delicate balance between the two. It's easy to establish one or the other but not the balance between the two. For that you need an extended look, which is what we'll be getting after this Pokemon stuff.

That footage looked so good. Short glimpses of everything. We haven't seen gameplay demos and everyone's complaining still lol. Oh Zelda

Zelda Trailer was amazing, but what am I watching now? Live interview with translators? Pacing is the complete opposite of Sony yesterday.

Well, asside from being happy for a new Zelda, i think i'm not that hyped right now.
It's the same story for years with me but i think Zelda is THE game that deserves powerful hardware. This just looked soo empty.

Can't wait to see more and be proven wrong. But i allready know i'm waiting for the NX version. I never could stand jaggies and with modern game not showing them, i can't stand them even less. Pop-in, shimmering, flickering shadows, etc.

Sorry for being a downer. I actully can't wait to see more of the game but thus far, a bit underwhelming.

edit: pokemon translator makes smacking noises with her mouth. Drink some water please.

Yo what is this giant demon spirit hovering on the right? 0_0

The game looks about the same graphical quality as it always was. Which makes it even more infuraitating that Nintendo didn't get us a goddamned trailer last year.

Throwback to Zelda 1!
latest

Except - unless the footage gave me the wrong impression - without the enemies looking dangerous and menacing and as such without the world presenting us with ominous environments by proxy.

Both Zelda 1 and 2 had enemies (and environments) that were a menace to fight(/explore) and that looked the part despite being somewhat cartoony. Since Twilight Princess especially however, the enemies seem to look too silly and "friendly" to be menacing imo, with cartoonesque proportions and color palettes. This new game appears to be no different unfortunately - which is a shame considering how they are trying to break with the traditions of the last few games and present us with a big open world that in my view should come with areas that make you shit your pants (ala Dark Souls).

Apart from that I did like what I saw overall though. Hopefully the game world turns out to be big AND filled with interesting things to do and find.

Most of the stuff from this pokemon talk is stuff that is already known...

Is NX the actual name for their new console and not a codename? Reggie used NX...

Missed the Zelda opening.

Pokemon seems alright. I lost interest fairly quick with X&Y and didn't dip into the Ruby/Sapphire remakes, so I don't know if it's worth it to me to jump back in quite yet.

Rewind the video! Seriously you need to see it!! This part is so boring anyway!

Having rewatched the Zelda trailer in high quality on Nintendo's youtube the disappointment is hitting hard. Real fucking hard. I'd give all my reasons but I don't want to drag the thread down. Or maybe I will, I don't know...

It looks rough, man. Really rough in multiple areas. And it doesn't appear to be doing anything other open world games haven't. Where's the 'new', Reggie?

I'm gonna play the fuck out of Zelda but that trailer did absolutely nothing to impress at the moment. Disappointed.

Will watch the gameplay closely.

I feel so bad for these Pokemon people because like 85%+ of people are just chomping at the bit for their time to be over to get back to the real event.
