The music is really awful, and I hope it wasn't an indication of what we'll hear from the game.![]()
I thought the music was amazing. To each his own, I guess.

I'm glad that they're spending the rest of the day playing it so we can see if this is a problem or notI love Witcher 3. I love Zelda. There's no reason you can't enjoy both, but people tend to split everything into godly "beastmode best of all time" and "utter garbage".
The trailer was also a very short look at the game with large landscape shots that were meant to show off how large the game is without establishing what kind or how much content it contains, as well as brief segments of specific content (cutting down trees, shooting down beehives, different kinds of armor and combat maneuvers, different kinds of monsters).
I could splice together a trailer of Witcher 3 that makes it look utterly empty by just focusing on landscape shots. I could make Skyrim look like the most handcrafted content filled game ever by just focusing on a few segments of gameplay. To have any idea of the balance between size and content in Zelda, we have to see an extended playthrough, not an edited trailer.
This is my main issue with it. It just doesn't look like an interesting enough world. Time will tell but very disappointed so far.I really hope this isn't as empty as it seems from the trailer.
You realize it's the same game, right?
We're in the same boat. Nice trailer, but I don't see why some are "crying" over it.
Clickers and all.Looks too much like the Last of Us.
Yeah, some of those landscape details are extremely similar to stuff you see in Xenoblade X.
Yeah it does look empty off the trailer hopefully it isnt. This treehouse stream is pretty wackLooks pretty empty and the colours washed out.

Music is stunning.
The world looks so empty and barren though!

I'm thinking Link is a Shiekah in this game. Perhaps adopted by them.Link looks on in shock. Wearing white shirt. Already has bow, sword, and shiekah book
Honestly, I'm surprised people are so excited by this. A few gamelan mechanics aside, it just looked like a load of big, empty expanses of scenery with nothing bar a few rocks and trees in it. Combat was the same old Zelda stuff with the latest gimmick, environmental attacks, added as the cherry on top, the graphics look worse than the past trailers, and you can really see the limitations the WiiU hardware is putting on everything.
Frankly, I kind of found it all a bit boring.
Ok I'm pretty sure Link's female this time![]()
I have a hard time believing this is running on the Wii U.
Good, we can stop pretending like he's player avatar and not a real character with a real name/personality/desires/etc
I don't play Zelda games, but it seems really odd that they've decided to make Link a righty in this game. Wasn't he supposed to be the most famous southpaw in video games?
