Bolded is probs whats giving me that empty world feeling i guess they were having performance issues still and decided to cut them for this demo ?
So was female link confirmed?
Okay, now this part of the map looks barren and bland to me. The initial part was cool.
My problem with the map is that it doesn't look like a 'real place'. I don't know if it's not high fidelity enough or what, but it looks like a really big 'level' rather than an actual field or valley or whatnot, you know?
I like open-world games where the wild feels like the actual real-world wild.
Absolutely. What do they want here? Zombies and brutal limb amputations? HBO melodrama? Softcore sex scenes? What is the mature and dark they want?
And those constantly interrupting windows with that dang jingle every single time holy fucking shit somebody make it stop.
Plot theory:This Link is an aged young Link from another game.
Fucking hell....why is this not blowing me away? The very first reveal trailer sure did. While i really dig the new features and how RPG like it is, the world so far seems so empty and void of wild life, if that's the right wording. Where are the wild animals from the very first trailer? I think it showed sheep and deer?
Just animals that are there for the atmosphere or any other purpose. Maybe they will be added later on, but it feels so empty to me.
Loot!
Crafting!
Survival!
Weapon durability!
It's everything I never wanted in a Zelda game. And those constantly interrupting windows with that dang jingle every single time holy fucking shit somebody make it stop.
Some people here have quite unrealistic expectation for an open world game on WiiU when it comes to graphics.
Pretty impressed, but then again they have been working on this for an eternity. HOpefully the NX version is nicer looking with a more stable frame rate.
Only issues for me were the bareness of the land. I hope there are hundreds of caves, secrets etc spread out. Otherwise its a massive world with not much to do. Wind Waker pt 2.
For fuck's sake. Do you guys also think dungeons and towns were cut because we haven't seen any?
FINALLY a wiiu game that is not about replaying the same level over and over until you get a gold medal or something
So continuing with the translation of ancient in-game text we have:

DUNGEON

At least no window pops up if you pick up an item for the second time, unlike a certain other Zelda title.
Still though. 'This Zelda will be so brand new!'
-Weapon durability
-Item stats
-Loot
-Crafting
-'Follow the point on your map'
Come the fuck on, you're playing catch up to a decade of open-world game design that you should have been at the forefront of with this series and you know it.
My favorite thing about Zelda games has always been exploration and this game promises that in spades. Now I hope we get a glimpse into a dungeon to confirm they still have my second favorite thing about Zelda games intact.
Also, this looks like a technical marvel, Let's not forget this is running in a WiiU. Comparing it with Witcher 3 is silly...
Xenoblade X is beautiful.
