I'm really impressed at not only the scope of the game, but the complete 180 on the typical formula. Multiple weapons and armors, climbing systems, hunting, cooking, crafting(?), stealth, combat changes... They've totally turned the Zelda formula upside-down and I'm liking the look of it.

I wonder if I should get the Wii U version or go for the NX version instead. I might just do boh.

Yeah I got past that part just now.
This game man.. I was afraid I was setting myself up to be disappointed but it's literally blowing all my expectations out of the water.
It's a shame Nintendo doesn't get a whole lot of 3rd party support anymore these days because that's obviously hurting them, but their first party games still have that touch that no other company is able to stand up to for me.

Yep, if you go into a cold area with light clothing Link starts shivering and you'll eventually die if you stay there too long.

Yeah, I was wondering this too. I don't mind the food for health angle, but there seems to be too much of it around. Granted, this is early game, but no heart containers would certainly fix that.
