Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2016 Thread [*LIVE*] (No childish commentary allowed)

This is the most cringey comment I have read today.
I swear some of you would probably start crying and bowing to him if you saw him in person.

How long have u been on GAF?

10-20 devs and personalities get that treatment. I personally don't care, but I'm not offended or "cringe" at it. That's weird. "Stop liking guy!" is what you're saying.

NOMURAAA (well not anymore)

? He's an accomplished guy and the games he's been a part of have been amazing. Granted, I wouldn't bow to him, but how often do you really get to meet anyone that talented?

I disagree. I think these segments shed a lot of light on the developers and allows them to voice how they feel about their projects a la Iwata Asks.

At first it was a bit boring, but they showed and talked about some interesting stuff.

I wish Sony and MS would also do this with their developers.

Am I the only one hoping Color Splash turns out good? Seems to be written off already by GAF at large.

The only way that'll happen at this point is if Miyamoto himself comes on to present it and says that they've scrapped all of that stupid card combat nonsense while also adding back partners/life into the game's environment and characters..

Exactly, people shit on publishers for not giving their devs shine but when they do people shit on the devs because they would rather see the games.

Let these guys get their shine on and talk about what they love, when are they ever going to get to talk about their creation in public again?

I'm all for letting devs have their time to shine, but I don't feel like I got much of that in this Pokemon Go segment.

Granted, I only caught the second half of the Pokemon Go segment, but it just felt like way more of an infomercial instead of natural discussion.
"Pokemon Go Plus? What is that?"
*translated to Japanese* *response given in Japanese* *translated to English*
"Pokemon Go plus is X, Y, and Z and available for $34.99!"

I'd rather they just get all the facts of the game out of the way first (date, price, features, etc.) and then ask specific questions from there about design decisions or whatever.
