Is it me or does this look really fun?
Not as simple mini-games as Island Tour.

Actually doesn't look completely horrible like the past few mario parties have, so I'll be cautiously looking forward to it. Have they said if it has online yet?
Gotta say, this looks pretty good. I believe they did say you could play as other characters. Are they perhaps all picking Toad to hide the full roster at E3?

"Luigi won't let me down!"
(Half a second later.)
"Luigi let me down."
No, you start as Toad and recruit one of the main characters and then you can "play" as them. But you can only play as them when you recruit them and select them; then you play as them on the board (with Toad following you it seems) and play as them in mini-games.
But I don't... want to play as Toad. Period. Especially because this controls who I will be playing as, it's not giving me a choice to pick my favorite character. I'm forced to be Toad at the start and, so far, it looks like I will be forced to pick someone I don't like to play as based entirely on RNG. I say RNG because the characters have to appear on the board on a space and I have to go to them.
This is blech. Don't like it.
Why does everyone want online for Mario Party? Lag would ruin a lot of timing-sensitive minigames and there would be so so many rage quitters.
The "everyone moves at once" feature is at least a far better solution than the party kart from Mario Party 9/10.
Star Rush
Has Paper Mario been shown/will be shown?
Presumably this is only one of multiple game modes within the cartridge?
So are they playing the main mode? I can't hear the video at work so I have no idea if they are talking about the rules or not.
Because I would rarely be able to play this with people without it. Maybe once a year max. Most people I know all live in different cities and when we do get together they don't usually bring their 3DSWhy does everyone want online for Mario Party? Simultaneous turns (not cars) and free movement feel like something this series should've had a long time ago. Game's not looking bad.

Not yet. Supposed to be.
My friend turned off the stream when she said "It's a constant party."
And what did you do?

Fantasy Life is trending over Ever Oasis lol
So at this point it's safe to assume MHG is next.
But that's kind of how it's already done. A conference happens and then people play it live on the floor. So the only difference here is that the company itself is playing it which isn't as good IMO since they have an obvious reason to make it look and play better.
