46 + 40 = 86 Minutes of DIRECT FEED Zelda Breath of the Wild (No Commentary)

I admit the hype is starting to get to me.

Is the release date still "TBD 2017?" It looks really complete.

Yeah, this. Is there anything more concrete than "2017" in terms of a release date? They showed off a ton of straight up gameplay and it looks pretty damn good... You'd think early 2017 was at least a possibility.

Awesome. Are we expecting this game to launch with the NX and release on the same day with the Wii U?

It's at least launching simultaneously on both Wii U and NX. It's likely a launch title for the NX.

I imagine we'll know a more concrete date when we hear more about the NX. (Which, I think we believe is releasing earlyish 2017?)

It's going to release whenever NX is released. Plain and simple. They're not releasing NX without this, unless NX is launching with Smash Bros. 5, Splatoon 2 and F-Zero NX

NX confirmed launch is still March 2017, but that can change, so best to wait until an actual day is given.

Never thought I'd see a Zelda game with this!

You know for all the "too easy as usual" complaints I sure have seen a share of game overs in these videos, and not all the time because of bad playing or anything. Environmental damage (fire, explosions, etc) take down a lot of health and the bigger enemies have some pretty devastating attacks.

I'm not saying the game's gonna be hard, but it definitely doesn't mess around at times.

Thanks but man the quality could be better.

Stupid youtube compression...

Looks great. Really like the idea of no overworld music oddly enough, it adds to the atmosphere and mood they're setting with this game. The occasional bgm is really nice and minimal too. The battle music is so whimsical I love it lol.

Hope we get some gamersyde footage soon!

Never understood that either. This isn't dark souls, you shouldn't be walking around in the world dying left and right. Most fights are with fodder like bokoblin anyways, in other fights against guardians or that rock monster I saw a lot of game over screens.

Game looks cool as hell but Im still sceptical concerning traversal. A speedy motorcycle or skell would surely help.

The more I see of this game, the more I want it right goddamn now. As many others have noted, it does seem like the game is either complete or darn close. My theory is that they're holding off on a release date due to it being an NX launch game.

Ugh, I really can't wait to see it running on the NX. This game deserves better hardware.

I'm sure it'll be a little better on NX, but really, it's not out until March. Still a bit early to call out the performance.

Do we know what praying does? I mean, when we're not trying to burn down the altar within the Temple of Time? It just says the goddess smiles upon you or something.

Sell the Wii U version now through Wii U eshop as early access and provide final Wii U build to early access owners for free when it launches. I'd buy it on Wii U right now and again on NX next year probably.

1080p and better textures alone would go a long way. While it's true that the performance could improve enough to where the game rarely drops from 30 FPS (I have my doubts), I think it's fair game to judge what they've shown us thus far.

For me it's like saying it's fair game to judge the pacing of a film while it's being edited :p

I mean, being on Wii U, it could very well end up running like this. Just saying, it likely hasn't been optimized yet.
