That's pretty cool. I've actually never played the Crash games. I couldn't afford many games back then, so I missed out on a lot of PS1 classics. I only played the demos of the Crash games.

Nah, I hope the controls are as faithful to the PSX trilogy as possible. Only thing that needs fixing is Crash 1's abysmal save system.

They keep referring to it as remasters in the video (but I just skipped around) so if it was a full on remake ala Ratcher and Clank I'd think they'd stop referring to it as a remaster.

Do they mean remake as in, new engine and graphics and probably controls (like analog) or flat out different / new content?

I don't trust VV, and my biggest fear is that the remake will be a cheap and tacky cash grab with very little resemblance to the originals.

Hit and miss but I think that's pretty much inevitable when you work for Activision. They've actually made Crash games before (The 2D platformers on GBA) that were pretty good.
