Are you serious? Then I have no idea how anyone would intuit who the drink was for, especially if other people were also drugged.
I have officially ended up unfollowing someone whose content I used to enjoy because apparently date rape is now a thing that's never happened.
Sadly not surprising. It's a huge event gathering people from all around the country, the temporary nature of such making it easier to get away with some real horseshit.
Then I have no idea how anyone would intuit who the drugs were for, especially if other people were also drugged.
Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like most gamersgate people are against the harassment. The problem stems from gamersgate people think denouncing it and then trying to move on and focus on their actual complaints is enough, and a lot of gaming press and the victims themselves don't want to hear any of it as long as the threats keep happening. The gamersgate people have no power to really stop it so nothing gets resolved or even discussed.
You gotta watch your drinks and cling onto them with your life at events like that. Similar thing happened to my brother at Wrestlemania albeit slightly different. We suspect it was a female groupie who drugged a drink intended for a wrestler we were hanging out with - my brother picked up the drink thinking it was his. We then watched him slowly freak out and eventually black out.
If I meant that I would have said that. Don't be obtuse. I'm not making judgements on the validity of what he's saying because I wasn't there and I know none of the involved parties.
you have to have the brain of a psychopath to be able to drug someone without them knowing.
i mean who plans to do that sort of shit? cant be a normal-brained person.
i'd go absolute apeshit if i saw someone try to slip something in my drink..
Wait, how would he even benefit from lying about this? I don't understand.
They might get a retweet from Milo which would be the closest thing most of these guys have to something they can put on a resume.
Then I have no idea how anyone would intuit who the drugs were for, especially if other people were also drugged.
Right. He's a GGer. No need for anyone to respond to him again.Suddenly your post history makes perfect sense.
and your numerous posts in a thread called "Report: More Women Own Videogame Consoles Than Men in US" insisting that the statistics must be flawed
turns out you can't retroactively find stuff like this outI don't understand, who drugged him exactly?
Did someone make a video denying this happened? :/
#NotAllGamersI can already see this being spun as "gamers like to drug girls" and "gamers are bad people"...This is all messed up.
Yup. It's why most people don't report this stuff. "So you were died in a place filled with 2000 people and you can't remember the face of the guy who gave you the drink? Here's a thumbs up, a congratulations on getting away, and a pat on the back. We can't help you."turns out you can't retroactively find stuff like this out

Are you serious?
Are you seriously serious?
Like serious?
Unfortunately. People are slamming him for very different reasons based on a later tweet he made.
You're being intentionally obtuse for a reason. Stop.Yes I'm serious. If multiple people at a party were drugged, what is there to say his friend was the person it was intended for. No one is saying it's okay to drug people at a party, I'm just assuming if his man thinks it was intended specifically for his female colleague that there is a reason he thinks that (assuming she wasn't the lone female at the party) and that he should also take his suspicions to the authorities.
He said in more words "I'm going to stop making rape jokes now" and everyone is saying rape jokes are never OK.Which tweet?
This sort of thing happens all the damn time, anywhere you go. It's not something exclusive to trade shows or conventions.
"@nero" ( Milo something ) is a gamergater? This guy is so trolly, but often i think he "act" in a role.
I read about him today and saw he is now on Breibart... xD and a Trumpist.
On topic, intense story, if the party was organize by a gaming compagny. They will get a bad rep now. (Even more maybe if it was a official E3 party)
Wait, how would he even benefit from lying about this? I don't understand.
If your point I'd that he should go to the cops, just say that. Because you're going off in a weird direction right now.Yes I'm serious. It's not. It's every day. This is insane.
I'm just saying, which is more likely. Your friend and coworker did a little prank that fucked with everyone, or something that happens so often sublime wrote a song about it occurred.
I can't believe we have now entered a world where DATE RAPE is now sjw bullshit.
Milo Yiannopolos is human garbage."@nero" ( Milo something ) is an alligator? This guy is so trolly, but often i think he "act" in a role.

But you are willing to question his motive here and the "making no judgement" doesn't change that.
"Why would he do it this way, guys?"
Why ask that question at all?

One of the people who commented was shoe on head, whose been a very antifeminist voice on youtube for awhile. I used to enjoy a channel she is a part of, basically atheist bullshit but what ever. She tweeted " "something that perfectly aligns with the agenda i push every single day happened aren't gamers just terrible fellow gamers" " which I just can't even.

You serious? It's a tactic used largely by men to rape women. It's as "sjw" as you can expect, which isn't bullshit or bad in any way.I'm just saying, which is more likely. Your friend and coworker did a little prank that fucked with everyone, or something that happens so often sublime wrote a song about it occurred.

That's what I'm asking myself too. This sort of stuff happens in clubs and bars a lot. There's a reason why everyone is encouraged to always keep an eye on their drink. Why would someone, a guy no less, need to lie about such an event? What do people get out of accusing him of lying?
To raise awareness about not letting your drinks out of sight when you are in a party, perhaps.
