I voted out today. My main reason for this is i think every country in europe should keep its identity and govern itself, we can still be united as separate countries. we can still trade freely and have an open system of immigration. I dont like the whole single currency one government, united states of europe thing that will likely happen somewhere down the line.

We still talking sweets?

These were the GOAT when I was younger:

Not very. What will happen will happen and we will have to deal with it and the ensuing repercussions. I just hope the losing team, whichever team it is, is respectful of the public decision and that there are no sour grapes.

I have to believe that this weather MUST be helping leave to a significant extent. There are a not insignificant portion of people who would crawl through hell itself to vote leave.

Politics is seen as an outside force acting upon powerless people and people feel disenfrachised.

Well, at least it's reassuring that people can see the truth then. Current democracy in the UK is the illusion of choice, you get to pick which party will implement the things you didn't ask for, and weren't consulted on.

Why stop there? Everyone should split back into villages of no more than 100 people. Moving between villages is only allowed with written permission from the village elders.

for our identity

I've seen out signs in gardens, on the side of buildings and on the doors of establishments where i'm from, which is one of the poorest areas in the country. Never seen such political fervor tbh. I've voted remain but i'm sure i'm in the minority around here.

Seems my mate my be coming round to watch the results, grabbed some supplies.

Almost a perfect picture.

£ slipping back to it's 6am figure which is a bit disheartening. Still up for the day in general though.

It does seem it's reacting to the news as this has happened after the Scotland poor turnout news, so I don't think the markets have much more info than us.

Ahhh the hands of a man who hasn't done an honest day's work in his life. So smooth.

Having to live with his wife is punishment enough, surely?
Misogyny is beneath all of us. I have never understood the personal attacks on his wife, but surely now she is no longer in the public eye (or duty bound to curtsy the Queen), it is time to lay off her?

Village jobs for village people please.

I'm curious how you know that to be the truth. Because scientific studies suggest otherwise.

I doubt this is a normal trading day.

Anyways, population figures are in. 65.1m
Net migration is up 335,600. Highest level since early 1990s.
Natural population growth is 171,800. Lowest level for nine years.
Immigrants increased the number of 20s and thirties.

For me this following paragraph is very key:
"There are now 11.6m people aged 65 and over — 2m more than there were 10 years ago. Those aged 65 and over now make up 17.8 per cent of the UK population, compared with 16.0 per cent in 2005."

But that's exactly what it is today.

Also while we are at it, considering you mentioned countries and identity.
Why not have a completely separate currency for Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England? and their own totally independent government as well ? They are all different countries after all with their own identity.

No need to be a dick when someone gave a perfectly reasonable opinion.
