it's pre-eclipse Caska

it's super gross and I've seen people defend not only that but also Casca's rape depiction in the marketing. The way they are promoting this game is really fucking dumb.

It is post. That scene is in the manga.

That's post eclipse.
After she got raped and she's bathing under a waterfall then has a PTSD breakdown.She also gave birth to the demon fetus in those clothes.

Casca wouldn't be wearing that outfit if she was anywhere near a "playable" state, going by the manga.

Well, post-eclipse
her and Gut's miscarried demon baby follows her around and is one of the reasons she is still alive because it had magic powers.
Though that would be really crazy to include as a playable character + assist.

I've never seen any other form of media that Berserk has been portrayed in where they focus on this rape so earnestly. It's fucking sick. And the defense force for this have fucked up heads.

Everybody calling this bullshit marketing out knows it's in the story. It would be like marketing Game of Thrones with
Sansa Stark getting raped.

And putting that on the cover of their books or games or what have you.

It's fucking stupid.

I'd be pretty pissed off if that's a costume you can wear while playing as Casca. But for now, I'm not going to look too deep into it.

Just glad there'll be a berserk game out. Finally after all these years. I never even got to try the old games T.T

It's being used as incentive to buy the game and advertisement. It's kinda fucked.

It's in incredibly bad taste and just plain creepy. It's really not OK bro, I don't understand how you can't see that.

You're right. It's Berserk. But to take a gut wrenching scene like that and using it as some kind of promo is just dumb. It should be there for as an impactful moment in the story. It shouldn't be used as some insensitive marketing gimmick.

It really bothers me how much they're putting the rape scene at the front and center of the marketing for this game. I like Berserk a lot but I'm very uncomfortable with using that scene as an advertisement to get people excited for this game. A Musou based game should be emphasizing the combat and action, not this. In the context of the series that scene is upsetting and disturbing, Tecmo-Koei is using it for titillation. It just feels wrong and does a disservice to the source material.

I was kinda sorta willing to give Koei the benefit of the doubt with the first teaser where they just focus on Caska in... that part of the story... but yeah, now that I realized that this is also after that scene, it's clear they just don't have any sense.

The Japanese cover has her being raped and a CGI scene of her rape was used to tease the game during E3....so they're going all in. 7

Im looking forward to this game, but I dont want this dlc. I don't care that it happened in the books. It had context in the books and the books are pretty damn mature. I don't trust a Dynasty Warriors game to have the same kind of subtlety and this dlc show sjust how exploitative they can dive.

It's a shame Miura has hitched his franchise to these cowboys, the wonders that From Software and Miyazaki could have done is just unfathomable.

I'm really hoping that the people that are trying to defend this are just some younger people thinking that this makes the game more mature which means that they are grown ups for defending it.

The preview and the cover of the game basically spoil it for you anyway. I agree with you guys though.
